“I just want to congratulate both Mike and Jacob on a nail-biter of a comeback win,” said Stacey Moore, Founder of American Cornhole League “It was anyone’s game, but they pulled it off. We’re looking forward to seeing them out in Rock Hill later this year – and finding out who else will be joining them!”
Mike said on Instagram: “What a weekend‼️ You’re looking at 2022 ACL CORNHOLE MANIA CHAMPIONS.”
“It was such a fun night participating in the second SuperHole II Prelim in my home state!” Mike told Showbiz Cheat Sheet via email. “We had great and friendly competition, but it was amazing to get the W! My supplement line Brotrition was also a sponsor of the event, so it was a great night for BDS. I am looking forward to the championships. We didn’t come this far just to come this far!”
Mike Sorrentino’s other charity work
Playing cornhole isn’t the only way “The Situation” helps charitable organizations. Mike is an ambassador for the brand and a positive reminder to those in recovery that change is possible.
Banyan is an organization that offers addiction treatment in locations across the nation. In an interview with NBC 10 Philadelphia, Mike said he and his wife Lauren share their story, experience, strength, and hope during their visits to Banyan’s various treatment centers “…so that people who are in similar situations can understand that they’re not alone.”
‘Jersey Shore’ star honored for positive impact
Showbiz Cheat Sheet recognized Mike for his positive influence earlier in January 2022. The Jersey Shore star walks the walk regarding the positive messages he shares. As he explained to Showbiz, Mike would never share any advice with his 2.9 million followers that he wouldn’t follow himself.
“I’m very proud of my journey and how I got here,” he told us. “I feel that there’s a lot of negativity in the world right now. And I choose to be a force of positivity for good. Life is gonna happen. However, it’s how you present yourself and how you fight those battles that are really key. And that’s why a positive mental attitude is so important.”
Mike’s actions and encouraging words continue to impact his fans. He added: “I see all the time in my DMs and on Twitter and social media that people are using what had helped me to help them and their story, and it’s just unbelievable.”
