Miley Cyrus Claims She Does Not Want to Have Sex With Dua Lipa — Here’s Why
Miley Cyrus has been teasing her collaboration with Dua Lipa for months. Now the video for their song “Prisoner” is out and it’s very suggestive. Cyrus says that’s all an act though. She’s not trying to sleep with Dua Lipa in real life.
Cyrus appeared on The Howard Stern Show on Dec. 2 to play some songs and promote her new album, Plastic Hearts. Stern asked about her attraction to Dua Lipa and because it’s Howard Stern, the language Cyrus uses goes there.
Dua Lipa is not available even though Miley Cyrus is
Stern asked Cyrus if she really had sex with Dua Lipa while filming “Prisoner.” Cyrus said that, although she is available, Dua Lipa is not.
“We did not have sex,” Cyrus told Stern. “I did not get to have sex with her, unfortunately. She has a boyfriend. I’m free and can do whatever the f*ck I want which feels great for the first time in years and years. I could’ve gone there.”
Dua Lipa may not be Miley Cyrus’s type
Cyrus has had many different high profile celebrities, including her marriage to Liam Hemsworth and relationships with Kaitlynn Carter and Stella Maxwell. She was reluctant to explain why she’s not attracted to Dua Lipa.
“I don’t know what’s worse, if I say that she’s not my type or she is my type,” Cyrus said. “What I’m after, I don’t really want to f*ck Du Lipa that much. I think I know her too well as a friend. Not really, no. I definitely like pretending that we have because it ends up getting us a lot of views on our music video. It’s just manipulation, the standard pop culture manipulation.”
Not that Cyrus isn’t physically attracted to Dua Lipa. However, Cyrus explained what she’s looking for in an intimate relationship.
“What turns me on is I think one, and I’m not saying she’s not funny,” Cyrus said. “She is funny but I need someone that really can laugh because talking about some of this anxiety and fear, I tend to be one of the people that try to laugh through it. If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry. It can kind of take over. I need someone that keeps life funny for me and has a really interesting perspective.”
It’s really up to Dua Lipa
All this talk about Dua Lipa almost changed Cyrus’s mind, though. Cyrus started selling herself on the idea.
“Okay, I kind of want to f*ck her like 5%,” Cyrus said. “Now that I’m thinking about it, the more and more I’m thinking about it, I kind of do. She’s super f*cking hot but see, that isn’t it for me. That’s not what turns me on. She’s hot as f*ck but that’s not what does it.”
However, Cyrus came back to the first point that Dua Lipa wasn’t exactly making a move on her.
“No, I don’t want to f*ck her that much but that’s because also she doesn’t want to f*ck me,” Cyrus said. “So maybe if she did, I’m sure I’d take the bait. Come on. I would if it was an opportunity that presented itself. There’s a lot of things that I haven’t really wanted, and then when it comes to be in front of me, there I go.”
