Miley Cyrus Reveals She Wants Someone ‘Boring’ for Her Next Relationship
Miley Cyrus’ love life is often the subject of gossip with fans everywhere. For many years, she had a long on-and-off relationship (and marriage) with actor Liam Hemsworth. Aside from that, Cyrus also had numerous short term flings with different people.
Now at age 27, Cyrus seems to know more about what she wants from a partner. She recently went into details about what she is looking for in a future relationship, and it includes someone who is “boring.”

On August 14, it was revealed that Cyrus had split from Cody Simpson. The two of them had been friends for many years before they started dating sometime in the fall of 2019.
Cyrus confirmed the news on Instagram Live, saying, “Two halves can’t make a whole and we’re individually just working on ourselves to become the people that we wanna be, like everybody else at this age… Don’t make it some drama story if next week we’re hanging out, getting pizza. We’ve been friends for ten years and we’re going to continue to be friends, so just don’t make it something that it is not.”
Meanwhile, a source also told E! News that the pair’s relationship “fizzled out” because they were heading in different directions with their lives.
Cyrus reveals she wants someone ‘boring’ for her next relationship
Although it has not been long since she and Simpson broke up, Cyrus seems to already be looking ahead to her next love. She recently spoke about what she is looking for in a partner on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
“I need boring,” Cyrus shared. “I definitely, definitely need a calming—I need an anchor, I need a weight.”
Additionally, Cyrus wants to be with someone who knows how to “take care of themselves.” She said, “I think the way someone treats himself is a reflection of the way that they’ll treat you. I’m super into clean eating; I’m into people taking care of themselves.”
Since Cyrus has a good idea of the type of person she wants to attract, she is careful about where she should go to find her next love.
“If clean eating and self-maintenance is going to be important, I know to look in communities where those people are going to gather,” Cyrus said. “As someone that’s living a sober lifestyle‚ don’t go to the club looking for your next partner, you know? So put yourself in places where you’ll be successful so you don’t get stuck on, ‘I’m just always wasting my time with all these people.’”
Cyrus also wants someone who ‘brings something to the f*cking table’
For those who are interested in knowing Cyrus’ love language, the star revealed that on the Call Her Daddy podcast as well. She admits that acts of service is one way of receiving and giving love for her. Additionally, quality time is high up there as well.
“I like quality time,” she shared. “Emphasis on quality. I want you to bring something to the f*cking table. That’s what I really demand now as I’m getting older. I allowed so many people to just come and add their toxic f*cking breath to my air and suck out the life of my spaces. I’m just over that.”
