Miley Cyrus Wants to Be Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s Wedding Singer, but She Has Competition
Luckily, for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani they have many celebrity friends. Miley Cyrus revealed she’s down to be their wedding singer. But she already has competition given Shelton previously said he wants this lead singer to perform for their big day.

Cyrus shared a video of her performing on Tiny Desk for NPR on Twitter on Jan. 30. Stefani was impressed by the performance and tweeted, “talented geeezzzz gx.”
Cyrus responded with, “When my hero’s [sic] tweet me I get horny.” She then added, “ALSO @gwenstefani @blakeshelton I’ll be your wedding singer! I promise to be on my best behavior. Or worst. whatever you want! It’s your special day! Cheers to loving you both almost as much as you love each other!”
Cyrus was previously a coach on The Voice for seasons 11 and 13 so she got to work with Shelton. But she has yet to coach beside Stefani.
Shelton said he might get Adam Levine to perform
It looks like the couple has a few options when it comes to wedding singers. Shelton is very close to Adam Levine from working on The Voice. He previously said he might get Levine to sing for their big day.
“I’ve kind of decided that I’ve been doing this a long time now and I’ve got a lot of favors out there,” the country singer said on the Late Night With Seth Meyers. “He may not like it, but Adam Levine’s gonna have to get the band together and come and play our wedding.”
Once again he teased his good friend. “I’ve already seen a music video where they crash people’s weddings and he owes me a lot for just putting up with him over the years,” he said. “So I think we can get Adam to come be our wedding band.”
Stefani revealed what she wanted for their wedding
The couple is now able to talk openly about what they want for their wedding. Stefani revealed one thing she wants on On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
“I would say I just want my parents there at this point,” she said. “My parents wouldn’t come to Thanksgiving because they were so scared (about the COVID-19 pandemic), so really would rather it not be a COVID situation. I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing.”
That means the couple will mostly likely wait to have their wedding. Shelton and Stefani got engaged and shared the news on Oct. 27. Shelton reportedly proposed on his ranch in Oklahoma.
The Voice host, Carson Daly also revealed that he knew about the news before the couple shared it. It looks like multiple celebrities who have worked on The Voice might be involved with the big day.
