Fredrik Eklund from Million Dollar Listing New York lightened shoppers’ mood when he shot a fun dance video to “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd at his local grocery store.

Eklund is seen high kicking and elbow bumping other masked shoppers as he gathers groceries during the coronavirus pandemic. “Hopefully I can get some of you to smile (volume up).🤣” he captioned the playful video. Eklund begins to groove to the highly addictive tune in the produce section, selecting a bag of lemons before busting out in full on dance moves in the middle of the grocery store.

Shoppers don’t seem to take note of the lanky broker busting out some pretty serious dance moves as he hops and skips through the store. Eklund wears black gloves and a mask as he dances. Eventually, he gets some shoppers’ attention as they watch him having the time of his life. One lady looks at the camera and just laughs.

Ryan Serhant’s wife has the best observation

Eklund literally takes over the grocery store, but the funny thing is many shoppers continue going on with their business without even noticing that he is wildly dancing in the aisles. “I like how no one else is phased in the supermarket. these dance moves must be pretty common in LA 😆,” Emilia Bechrakis Serhant wrote.

Others notice the same thing. “They don’t even look at him 😂😂,” one person added. Another wrote, “@emilia_bechrakis they probably are, especially if he had a camera 🎥 guy 😂😂. So hilarious.”

Tracy Tutor from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles commented, “Obsessed with you! 😂😂😂.” Another person added, “Missing Freddy Friday!!!!”

But fans were worried about this moment

When the video begins, Eklund’s face mask drops so he adjusts it. Fans were worried that he could have touched a contaminated surface and then touched his face. “Your mask has to be covering your nose and mouth 💕,” one person remarked. Another wrote, ” I was just about to say that. Like hey goofy. Cover your nose!!”

“You’re not supposed to be touching your mask with your hands after you’ve touched everything in that store,” one person expressed. And this person added, “Gotta love the amount of cross contamination. Lol. Gloves on, touching face to fix mask 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ a for effort.”

Many of the comments were fixated on concern for safety at the store. “He even touches his mask with the gloves after touching the cart and everything else 😳,” one person wrote.

A cool nod to The Weeknd

Eklund dons the same black driving gloves as what The Weeknd wears in his video for “Blinding Lights” plus has some of the same slick dance moves. Of course, The Weeknd’s video is set in Las Vegas as a nod to the film The Joker.

Meanwhile, Eklund is at the local grocer, which makes the video even extra endearing. He walks the aisles elbow bumping a few customers, but completely in his element, wearing a black sweatsuit and white untied sneakers. The high-kicking broker is on fire and having fun.
