Josh Altman and Fredrik Eklund’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles battle continues. Eklund seemingly took credit for a lift in ratings on the LA show, but Altman slammed him, telling him to sit down.

“MDLLA live ratings are up over 20% since premiere and we’re only 3 episodes into the season,” Eklund shared on his Instagram story. “This goes out to all the haters saying I should have stayed on the NY-show.” Altman wasn’t feeling the love, shading Eklund’s share. “When [Fredrik Eklund] thinks the success of our show is because of him,” he wrote along with sharing Eklund’s comment.

“Not the 5 people who have been on MDLLA for the past decade with higher ratings than the NY show,” he continued. “Welcome to the winning team, Fredrik. And you’re welcome …”

Josh Altman said Fredrik Eklund is an ‘ex-friend’

Eklund and Altman playfully shared a co-listing during the latest episode. And while they had a healthy sense of competition, their relationship has since soured.

“Fredrik’s having a tough time in L.A.,” Altman told E! News. “I think he thought he was just going to come into this market and just start selling a lot of real estate. I think he’s going through the motions now for a couple of years, and it didn’t turn out where he wanted it to be at this point. So I think he’s kind of grabbing on to different things just to try to stay relevant down here, and at the end of the day, it’s ruffling a lot of feathers.”

Altman added, there is “desperation that’s coming off from him. As an ex-friend, I’m probably the only person who’s going to tell him straight,” he stated.

“Look, it wasn’t that anybody cared that he was here. It was when he started doing things, trying to involve us to try to get a ruffle out of us, you know?” Altman remarked. “Did he come to me for advice? No, but I do have a training program so if he’s interested, I’ll give him a discount.”

Fredrik Eklund said the ‘Million Dollar Listing LA’ cast did not welcome him

Altman and Eklund seem to be on the same page about one thing – the dissolution of their friendship. “I wouldn’t say anyone was friendly at the time, no,” Eklund told ET. “But in the Bravo universe, I think that’s how it should be. When you’re new, you got to pay your dues, which I certainly did this season and you have to, you know, you’ve got to be in the hot seats.”

Eklund said the cast, in general, did not welcome him with open arms. “I wouldn’t say anyone was friendly at the time, no,” he said. “But in the Bravo universe, I think that’s how it should be. When you’re new, you got to pay your dues, which I certainly did this season and you have to, you know, you’ve got to be in the hot seats.”

Josh Flagg and Fredrik Eklund’s friendship fizzled too

Bravo teased that Eklund gets into a heated battle with everyone but Josh Flagg this season. And while Flagg and Eklund may not fight on camera, their friendship has also fizzled. Flagg was furious when Eklund spilled about Flagg’s move to Douglas Elliman. Eklund jumped the gun when contracts weren’t signed and Flagg slammed Eklund on Instagram.

Flagg appeared on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef and was asked if he was nervous that Eklund joined the cast. “That’s the last thing I am,” Flagg said. “I’m completely un-nervous. That doesn’t matter to me.”  He then listed who he is friends with from the show.

“James [Harris], David [Parnes], Tracy [Tutor], Josh [Altman],” he said. “We’re all, you know, I’m close friends with all of them. I used to be friends with all of them and not with Frederik anymore.”
