Thomas “TommyInnit” Simons is a 17-year-old who has become the world’s most popular Minecraft streamer in the past year. He started his Minecraft streaming career on YouTube through his channel that debuted in 2013. The British gamer became a regular on the Hypixel server, which saw him celebrate 5 million subscribers on YouTube a year and a half ago.

In the past year alone, he has gained 8.5 million followers on his primary YouTube channel, which stands at nearly 11 million as of this writing. As he became more integrated with Hypixel, he gained a large audience that kept coming back for his humor, storytelling, and skillful video editing.

Though he has achieved success on YouTube, he had to find his place on Twitch. That’s mainly because Minecraft is not as popular on Twitch. Still, he’s carved a niche for himself on the live-streaming service. In the past six months, TommyInnit has had almost 6.1 million viewers join his Minecraft streams. His success has seen the teen become a top 20 streamer by follower count on the site. He is now considered the world’s most-followed Minecraft streamer.

His rise to acclaim has attracted friends and enemies within the tight-knit gaming community. He has beefed comically with game show host Kevin Pereira and fans who don’t appreciate the teen’s humor. On the other hand, creators such as Dream and Corpse Husband have embraced TommyInnit, further cementing his place in the community.

While he has gained fame from his Minecraft streams, he is also an avid Valorant and Among Us player. Additionally, his Just Chatting streams rank second only to his Minecraft streams. His Just Chatting prowess has earned even more multiplayer titles, especially on the Rust RP server.

In addition, he has the most viewers of a Minecraft gameplay live stream on Twitch.

Besides those two records, TommyInnit is also the most-followed streamer from the United Kingdom on Twitch.
