Miranda Lambert Might Announce a Pregnancy Sooner Than We Thought, Source Claims
Miranda Lambert and husband Brendan McLoughlin surprised everyone with their intimate winter wedding back in 2019. And since their special day, the two have seemed to only grow more in love. Lambert and McLoughlin have been quarantining together for the past few months, and according to a source close to the couple, Lambert might announce a pregnancy sooner rather than later.

Nobody thought Lambert would move so quickly after moving on from ex Blake Shelton, but she surprised everyone. In November 2018, when Lambert was in New York City for a scheduled performance on Good Morning America, she was introduced to McLoughlin, an NYPD officer. At the time, he was getting ready to welcome his first child with a former girlfriend, and his son, Landon, was born only three days after he and Lambert met.
McLoughlin’s child didn’t seem to affect the budding romance between the two, though they worked hard to keep their relationship a secret. The couple only dated for three months before tying the knot in January. Then, on February 16, 2019, Lambert announced to the world that she had secretly gotten married a few weeks earlier.

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, celebrities have been quarantining just like the rest of us. And Lambert and McLoughlin have been spending all of their time together. Lambert has posted photos of the two traveling during quarantine, and now, there are rumors that the couple is thinking about expanding their family.
According to Life & Style, a source close to the couple said the two have talked about having kids but planned to put it off for a while. These days, though, spending so much time together has them thinking differently. “Now, having all this time together with no interruptions, and with the current state of the world, they’re rethinking the timing of everything,” the source revealed. “A family might come sooner than they originally planned.”

Lambert’s country music career has her spending plenty of time on the road and in the studio. It’s likely made having a baby hard for the two. But McLoughlin did recently leave his job as a NYPD officer. Back in February 2020, it was learned that McLoughlin had retired from the police force and now works on Lambert’s security team.
McLoughlin leaving his job certainly gives the two more time together, and it might have been a decision that was made with the idea that they’d eventually want to start a family. In March, Us Weekly reported that Lambert was ready to expand their family. It’s possible that spending so many days together has only made them realize that now is the time to be pregnant, since Lambert’s schedule has slowed down so much. Time will tell if these two decide to have a little one.
