Who is Katie Thurston from ‘The Bachelor’?

This season on The Bachelor, with lead Matt James, has the most diverse cast of contestants than ever before. They also have unique personalities. On the first night, when the eligible Bachelor meets the women who are vying for his heart, Katie Thurston brought a vibrator.

“I brought something from home that’s really special to me, and I thought I’d’ share it with you,” she began. “This pandemic was really hard for me, and this just really got me through a lot. I was hoping to pass the torch to you, but after seeing how you look and knowing that the fantasy suite is so far away, I’m actually going to need it for a little bit longer.”

James began laughing hysterically over her entrance, which aired on Jan. 4, 2021. However, many fans thought that Kate would only be known because of her vibrator. It turns out that she also stands up for women who are bullied on the show.

‘Modern Family’ Alum Tyler Jesse Ferguson shared his love for Katie on Twitter

In a tweet, the Modern Family star who portrayed Mitchell Pritchett, Ferguson, shared his thoughts about Katie.

“Also, I would just like to say that Katie, sweet Katie, who brought and presented her vibrator to the Bachelor Matt on night one, is the most logical, kind, and level headed of the girls in the house… likely, I think, because of said vibrator?” he told fans.

Although he shared the tweet on Jan. 19, his sentiments are going viral over one week later. On the Jan. 26 episode of The Bachelor, Katie again stood up for other women in the house.

“I feel like I get it,” Katie began to try to defend the women being bullied. “We are entitled to our feelings, but at the end of the day, they live with us. I would hate to be on their side of this. So the continuous digs — at some point, we gotta kinda get over it and welcome them into the house a little bit.”

‘The Bachelor’ fans love Ferguson’s tweets about Katie

“This is iconic,” one fan wrote on Reddit about Ferguson’s Bachelor tweet.

Other fans agreed that not only was the tweet on point but the fact that the Modern Family alum wrote it makes it even better.
