‘Moon Knight’: When Are New Episodes on Disney+? Episode 5 Release Date and Time
Moon Knight Episode 4 is taking the internet by storm, and it’s easy to see why. The Marvel show’s latest installment took Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac) and Layla El-Faouly (May Calamawy) into Ammit’s tomb, resulting in another confrontation between the pair and Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke). That led to some surprising developments for both characters. And fans are still reeling from the fourth chapter’s ending. So, when does Moon Knight Episode 5 come out?

‘Moon Knight’ Episode 4 recap: Into Ammit’s tomb
Moon Knight Episode 4 follows on the heels of Khonshu’s (F. Murray Abraham) imprisonment — a development that shapes the episode, even if it’s only directly referenced in the beginning. Fans get a glimpse of the Egyptian moon god trapped in an ushabti right before “The Tomb” returns to Steven and Layla.
Despite protests from Marc, Steven decides to keep his hold over their body as he and Layla make their way to Alexander the Great’s tomb. The two hope to stop Arthur Harrow by finding Ammit’s ushabti first. However, even with their significant knowledge, they have trouble fighting off the creatures in the tomb and Arthur himself. Without Khonshu, they’re both more vulnerable. And even Marc doesn’t stand a chance against Harrow without the suit. The show’s villain shooting him in the chest halfway through “The Tomb” underscores that fact.
After Marc gets shot, the episode takes a turn, with the show’s lead waking up in a psychiatric institution. It’s unclear if this is actually happening, but all of the main characters make an appearance in this strange new reality. It leaves Marc and the viewers wondering whether he imagined it all.
Whatever’s going on, “The Tomb” ends with Marc running away from a psychiatrist version of Harrow and finding Steven locked inside a sarcophagus. The two vow to get out of the hospital together. But the episode concludes with them discovering a third sarcophagus — and unexpectedly running into a hippo goddess.

It’s hard to believe, but after next week’s installment, fans will only have the series finale left. It feels like there’s still so much of Marc Spector and Steven Grant’s story to tell. Hopefully, the Disney+ show leaves room for them to return — whether it’s in a second season or another Marvel project.
What to expect when episode 5 of the Marvel show hits Disney+
Marvel hasn’t released a preview, episode title, or synopsis for Moon Knight Episode 5. However, fans can speculate about what’s coming based on the previous installment.
“The Tomb” concluded with Marc and Steven looking for a way out of the psychiatric hospital they’re currently in. The two ran into a hippo goddess before they made much progress, so the fifth installment will need to explain that particular encounter. Could they both be dead, with the hippo goddess showing up to resurrect them? That’s what happened to Marc previously, so it wouldn’t be that out of left field.
With the third sarcophagus showing up, many are also wondering if Marc and Steven will uncover a third identity — more specifically, Marvel Comics’ Jake Lockley.
There are plenty of questions to answer, and that’s not to mention Layla’s current predicament. She’s trapped in Ammit’s tomb with Arthur, leaving her in a dangerous predicament without help. Hopefully, she can hold him off until Marc and Steven find a way back to her.
New episodes of Moon Knight debut on Disney+ every Wednesday.
