Those empires have only grown since marrying Johnson.
Johnson, on the other hand, has struggled to find his footing following his last NFL season, several years before marrying Simpson. While the insider insists Simpson always supported Johnson and was never bothered by their income disparity, it did send them into couple’s therapy. The source told the publication that the duo’s priorities are no longer aligned. That, apparently, is ultimately what led them to go their separate ways.
