New month, new shows. If you’re looking to beef up your must-watch list this March, there are plenty of options, including the final season of HBO’s raunchy comedy The Righteous Gemstones and the long-awaited followup to PBS’s acclaimed historical drama Wolf Hall. Here are our picks for five must-watch shows in March 2025.

‘Dark Winds’ Season 3

The latest installment of AMC’s noir-ish, Arizona-set mystery-thriller Dark Winds arrives this month. In season 3, Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon) investigate the disappearance of a Navajo boy. Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito (Jessica Matten) makes a sinister discovery while adjusting to life on the border patrol. FBI agent Sylvia Washington (Jenna Elfman) comes to solve a case linked to Leaphorn’s recent past. (At the end of season 2, Leaphorn left BJ Vines to die in the desert, thus avenging his son’s death.) And in some good news for fans, Dark Winds has already scored a season 4 renewal, so this won’t be the last we see of Leaphorn and Chee.

Dark Winds Season 3 premieres on March 9 on AMC and AMC+.

Series creator and star Danny McBride told GQ the final season has “a lot of unexpected twists and turns, and some incredible payoffs for the characters, for the growth of some of these people. I’m really excited to see what people think about this thing being all wrapped up.”

The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 premieres on March 9 on HBO and Max.
