On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.”

Kate added that she knows she’s “not out of the woods yet,” but is hoping to attend some more public engagements over the summer. One summertime event fans are so used to seeing the princess at is Wimbledon as she is an avid tennis fan and patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Kate is known to be very close with her parents. It’s believed that her mom, Carole, who lives in Berkshire which is only around 40 minutes away from the Waleses’ Adelaide Cottage, has been by her daughter’s side and supporting her as she continues her treatment and recovery.

Royal expert Jennie Bond spoke about how much it means for Kate’s mother to be there for her daughter during such a difficult time.

“It’s what every mother does — wrap her poorly little girl up in cotton wool, even when she’s a fully grown woman,” Bond told OK!. “It doesn’t matter who you are when your health breaks down, there is no one quite like your mum to help you feel better.”
