NCIS Season 22’s holiday episode will air on Monday, Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It’s titled “Humbug.” Here’s the logline from CBS:

“When a shocking tell-all threatens to ruin Christmas for a decorated Marine, NCIS must unwrap the truth and deliver a holiday miracle – before the book hits shelves and turns a hero’s legacy into a holiday disaster.”

“Humbug” will join the long list of NCIS holiday episodes, which also include season 6’s “Silent Night,” season 9’s “Newborn King,” and season 16’s “What Child Is This?” All are available to stream on Paramount+.

‘NCIS: Origins’ is also getting a holiday episode

McGee, Torres, and Knight won’t be the only ones celebrating the holidays in the NCIS universe. New prequel spinoff series NCIS: Origins is also getting a holiday episode.

“Blue Bayou” will follow young Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell) as he prepares for his first Christmas following the death of his wife and daughter. Flashbacks will highlight his journey to his new job at the NIS Camp Pendleton office with Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid) and Lala (Mariel Molino).

“Blue Bayou” airs Monday, Dec. 16 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.

‘The Equalizer’ and ‘Ghosts’ will air CBS Christmas episodes in 2024

NCIS and NCIS: Origins aren’t the only CBS shows that will air Christmas episodes this year.

Matlock and Elsbeth have holiday-focused installments that will air on Dec. 5. On Dec. 8, McCall, Dante, and Miles are held hostage in a hospital at Christmastime in The Equalizer’s “Slay Ride.” Plus, a one-hour Ghosts Christmas special is set for Dec. 19. In “A Very Arondekar Christmas,” a leaky water heater mishap threatens to ruin holiday plans as Sam and Jay prepare to host Jay’s dad, mom, and sister.

CBS’s holiday schedule for 2024 also includes the new original movie Nugget Is Dead? A Christmas Story (Nov. 21); the holiday concert special An Evening With Dua Lipa (Dec. 15); Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas (Dec. 19); and the re-imagined show Josh Groban & Friends Go Home for the Holidays (Dec. 20). The network will also air the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 20 and the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors on Dec. 22.
