During an interview with Queen Latifah, the actress says she tries her best to focus on the job and keep things professional. Her top focus is the fans. Here’s what she told Queen Latifah:
The obvious answer would be yes [it’s weird to kiss Eric], but at the same time we’re so invested in our characters, and we’re so interested that the audience has been following these characters, and they’re happy with what’s happening on the show. We’re kind of trying to stay faithful to that more than anything else. Dave is in the business, and Eric’s wife is an actress, she’s in the business, and I think everybody knows what that feels like.

Another question that comes up often is whether the spouses of Ruah and Olsen are bothered by their on-screen romance. During an interview with CBS Los Angeles, Olsen and Ruah say their spouses understand they’re just doing their jobs because they also work in the entertainment industry.
“Sarah [understands]”, says Ruah. “Sarah is an actress. All four of us are just very realistic about what the job is. And then when we see each other on weekends for like football Sunday or something, Eric is on that side of the room and I’m on that side of the room because we’re like, ‘I’ve just been with you all week, you go over there and interact with those people!’”

It appears Ruah and Wright have a friendly relationship. They spend time with each other’s families and seem close. Not long ago, Ruah and her husband David joined Olsen and his wife for a cross-country trip. Ruah posted a photo on Instagram of Wright cooking a meal. “After much traveling and tired kids, cousins are a beamin’ with excitement and Aunt Sarah has a hearty meal a cookin’,” wrote Ruah.

Ruah told Queen Latifah she gets along so well with Wright that she even comes to her for advice. When Ruah was in labor with her first child, Wright was one of the first people she called. She wasn’t sure if she was really in labor, so she asked Wright for some insight. It turns out, Ruah was indeed in labor and it was time to get to the hospital. It looks like it’s all love between the sisters-in-law.
