‘NCIS’: Season 19 Episode 13: Jimmy and Kasie Are in Trouble
After a long break, a new episode of NCIS is on the way. This episode (written by Brian Dietzen) will certainly have you on the edge of your seat. Here’s a look at the plot for Season 19 Episode 13.
Jimmy and Kasie are in trouble
During NCIS Season 19 Episode 13 (titled “The Helpers”), Kasie Hines and Jimmy Palmer find themselves in a scary situation. During their investigation into the death of an intruder at Quantico, the duo is exposed to a biotoxin.
The team tries to help by finding an antidote to the deadly toxin. They turn to Dr. Carol Wilson to assist them with their efforts. Torres pitches in by spending time with Palmer’s daughter, Victoria, so that he can distract her from what’s happening. There’s no doubt Torres’ time with Victoria will also distract him from his own worries. He’s been going through a rough time lately.
A former ‘MacGyver’ star will appear on ‘NCIS’
Dr. Carol Wilson is played by MacGyver actor Meredith Eaton. Dietzen announced the upcoming guest spot in an Instagram post. “Sometimes you get to write something for TV,” wrote Dietzen. “And sometimes that means you get to hang out with friends you haven’t seen in far too long. So happy you’re here @themereaton!”
Other guest stars include Benita Krystal Nall as Amanda Wright, Patrick Bristow as Channing Elroy, and Eugene Prokofiev as “Buggy” Dennis Newton. Michelle Pierce, who played the late Breen Palmer, is also listed as a guest star. We’re guessing she will appear in a flashback.
What happened last time on ‘NCIS’
NCIS Season 19 Episode 12 (titled “Fight or Flight”) was intense. In this episode, we see Torres (played by Wilmer Valderrama) battling his demons. His demeanor suddenly changes and the entire team notices.
Torres is dealing with major loss in his life. He still hasn’t fully processed his father abandoning him (again), Bishop leaving, and Gibbs staying in Alaska. During one point in the episode, Torres is fighting someone during an undercover assignment. He’s given the option to reject the assignment since his opponent was twice his size, but he doesn’t back out.
Torres almost gets himself killed, but he doesn’t care. When McGee intervenes, Torres says “Who’s left to care?” He feels like everyone he cared about left him, so he might as well fight to the death. McGee reassures him that he cares about him. Fortunately, Torres survives the fight, and the assignment is completed.
Hopefully, Torres will regain his footing and get back to his old self. For now, it looks like he will remain in a dark place. Valderrama tells TV Line Torres will return to the person he was before he joined NCIS. It could be a while before we see a happier Torres.
“We didn’t really know much, because Torres doesn’t really offer much up about his personal life, Valderrama tells the publication. “He doesn’t open the door on what journey he lived before he got to NCIS.”
