Nene Leakes Responds to Eva Marcille With a Diss Track
Nene Leakes and Eva Marcille once touted their close friendship to their co-stars on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but their relationship has since soured. The two haven’t been on the best of terms since Marcille accused Leakes of not safeguarding her personal information.
After Leakes revealed in a recent interview that she thinks Marcille should be replaced, Marcille responded with harsh words of her own and now Leakes is prepping the release of a diss track aimed toward her nemesis.

Leakes and Marcille’s relationship has been rocky since Marcille accused Leakes of filming with a microphone on during a private discussion. Though they made amends this season, things between the two are murky again.
Leakes told Entertainment Tonight that she thinks Marcille lacks substance.
“I don’t feel like Eva brings that much to the cast. I’m just being honest,” she said. “It’s really like, when you look at a show like, everybody — like the whole cast — is away, and you don’t miss the person at all, it’s sort of like, we didn’t even know you were here, you know? And all season, doing a lot of scenes from FaceTime, that’s been the last couple of seasons … So, If I had to change, I would change her.”
Marcille clapped back at Leakes’s comments during her radio show. While on The Ricky Smiley Morning Show, Marcille took shots at Leakes, saying that she opts to remain a “lady” versus acting in a “ratchet” manner.
“As far as my relevance on the show, I choose not to—every single day- to be ratchet. There’s already enough ratchet, i.e. her, on the show. Why do you need two?” she asked. “I’m sorry that’s just the way I was raised. I didn’t grow up, I was raised by people that love me. So, we gon leave it there…”
Nene Leakes to release a diss track about Eva Marcille and other “haters”
Leakes caught wind of Marcille’s comments on The Ricky Smiley Morning Show and took to Instagram to reveal that she’s been working on a special project for Marcille and others who she views as “haters.”
Leakes has recorded a diss track aimed at anyone she says has questioned her spot on the show. The single is titled “Come On And Get This Hunnii” – and the cover art features Leakes holding a glass of champagne with a peach while donning a crown on her head.
“You b***hes could neva hunni. I can’t turn yo plums into a peach! You should’ve performed #nowbowalittlelower I wear the crown you wear a tiara,” she captioned a snippet of the song.
The single features rapper Lady Luck and will be released on April 12 according to the post.
The two also have been battling on social media. Marcille challenged her RHOA co-star’s to a challenge to show themselves without makeup and filters. Leakes accepted the challenge and posted a photo of herself with a bare face, while challenging her cast – namely Marcille – to post an unfiltered photo of their bodies.
Marcille did so and shaded Leakes’s figure in the process, reminding Leakes that she’s had no plastic surgery and is the mother of three. One of Marcille’s children was born just six months ago.
The upcoming reunion will include nothing but shade between these two! As of yet, there’s no word on the rescheduled reunion date.
