The This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14 promo trailer suggests Randall and Beth will update fans on the dance studio. It also seems Randall is worried about his wife.
“Can you do me a favor?” Randall asks Deja (Lyric Ross). “Can you keep an eye on her?”
Then Deja gives Randall a piece of advice. “Beth doesn’t need a hero,” she says. “Just be there for her.”
Meanwhile, Beth is spotted in her bedroom putting on a blazer. Then the This Is Us preview ends with Randall staring off with a concerned look on his face.

In all honesty, the This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14 promo didn’t give away too many details about what’s coming next. But the trailer confirmed the return date for the new episode will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
That said, This Is Us fans must wait four weeks until season 5 episode 14 is released. So everyone will have to endure another month-long hiatus.
Nevertheless, writer Jon Dorsey and director Kay Oyegun teased what’s next in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“Drip, drip,” Oyegun said.
Then Dorsey added, “Swollen toes.”
Sterling K. Brown previously hinted at a new Randall and Beth storyline in ‘This Is Us’ Season 5
If This Is Us Season 5 Episode 14 covers Beth’s dance studio, Brown may have teased the upcoming storyline. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter from January 2021, the actor speculated how 2020 might impact Randall and Beth.
“While Beth and Randall are in a very good place, 2020 … took its toll on every relationship,” Brown said at the time. “You had to adjust. So I’m sure we’ll see that as well.”
He later added, “Maybe Beth’s dance studio can recover from the economic hardships of 2020. There’s still a whole lot left to explore.”

Whatever happens when This Is Us returns in May 2021, it seems we’re nearing the end of the season. At the start of the promo trailer for season 5 episode 14, the NBC drama confirmed there are only three new episodes left.
“Tuesday, May 11, This Is Us returns for the final three episodes of the season,” the preview said.
Of course, this means the current cycle will be cut short by two episodes. So This Is Us Season 5 will be 16 episodes instead of the usual 18. But hopefully, the last few episodes will be extraordinary. So stay tuned.
