Another Duggar has tied the knot.

Less than two months after his big sister Jana Duggar walked down the aisle, 24-year-old Jason Duggar said “I do” to his girlfriend, Maddie Grace. The couple’s wedding took place on Oct. 3 at The Estate at Sweetwater Creek in Newport, Tenn.

Another Member of the Duggar Family Is In Legal Trouble

Members of the Duggar family are known for their short courtships and brief engagements. Jason and Maddie are no exception.

The couple connected on Instagram in December 2023, Jason told People, which was first to report the news of his wedding. The former Counting On cast member said he was on the app to prove to Jana that it was possible to meet someone on social media. But he didn’t think his move would actually result in a relationship for himself.

“I kind of basically got lost on there,” Jason said. “I was talking with Jana. I was telling her, I was like, ‘Listen, Jana, you got to put yourself out there if you want to find a guy.’ So I was like, ‘Look, listen, I’m going to hop on here just to find someone, just to show you that I can do it.'”

Maddie believes she and Jason were meant to connect with each other.

“But Jase found my profile just because he accidentally tapped on the notifications button, he saw my profile picture. He was like, ‘Oh, she’s cute,’” she told People. “It was definitely a God thing though. There’s no way we would’ve found each other. It was just crazy.”

Jason and Maddie got engaged in late August

By May, Jason and Maddie had gone public with their romance. On August 15, she was his date to Jana’s wedding to Stephen Wissman. A little over a week later, the couple was engaged

“On 8/24, Jase asked me to marry him, and I could not be more excited!!” the bride-to-be shared on Instagram, along with a carousel of photos of the beach proposal.

She added a “#spring2025” hashtag to her post, suggesting she and Jason intended to wait a few months to wed. But they apparently changed their plans, instead opting to get married just six weeks later.

Three hundred guests attended the ceremony. Eight of Jason’s 18 siblings were included in the wedding party. Jedidiah Dugar was the best man, while James Duggar, Justin Duggar, and Jackson Duggar served as groomsmen. Jason’s sisters Johanna Duggar, Jennifer Duggar, Jordan Duggar, and Josie Duggar were bridesmaids.

Jason’s sister Jill Duggar Dillard appears to have also attended the wedding with her family. On Oct. 4, she posted on Instagram about a road trip to Tennessee. And in a post to her Instagram Story, his sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo said she was “so excited” for the couple.

Jason and Maddie’s wedding comes just a few weeks after he was accused of fraud in a recent lawsuit filed against him and a company called Madison Holding, LLC. The ex-reality TV personality is accused of lying about having a contractor’s license and failing to complete agreed-upon repairs to a home purchased by an Arkansas man.
