The age-old question– are we alone in this universe? Nick Jonas doesn’t believe we are. He had an encounter that left him asking, ‘Am I losing my mind?”

Jonas, who recently released his 4th studio album Spaceman (interesting!), revealed in an interview he’s seen a UFO with his own eyes. Let’s take a look at what he said and if he’s the only celeb that’s a believer.

As a teen, Jonas saw something in the sky and couldn’t believe his eyes. People recounted an interview he did with a UK ITV show called The Morning. Jonas, who was 25 at the time said:

“This was probably eight years ago. I was in my backyard in L.A., and I looked up at the sky and [saw] three flying saucers … I looked at my friend and said, ‘Are you seeing this or am I losing my mind?'”

Jonas felt reassured when his friend admitted he “was seeing the same thing.” The encounter piqued young Jonas’ interests, admitting he’s now “obsessed with UFO stuff in general.” However, he isn’t alone in believing in aliens and flying saucers (or Tic-Tacs).

Many celebrities believe in aliens — and several have seen UFOs

This list isn’t exhaustive by any means, but here are a few notable people who aren’t shy about sharing their experiences or belief in alien life

Bill Nye, the host of Bill Nye the Science Guy, posted a selfie in 2019 with the caption:

“There are 200 billion stars in our galaxy. That’s likely 2 trillion planets. Aliens gotta be out there…”

William Shatner, from Star Trek, said:

“There is no doubt that there is life out there; the mathematics of it lead you to that absolute conclusion. In my mind, there is no doubt that the universe teems — teems! — with life in all its forms.

Kesha’s song Spaceship was inspired by her experiences. She disclosed this:

“I look up in the sky and there’s a bunch of spaceships. I was sitting on a rock, and I was like, ‘What in the hell is that?’ I was like, ‘Those are f—ing aliens.’ They were spaceships!'”

Maybe the biggest believer on the list– Tom DeLonge from Blink-182 is in deep! He told Paper in 2015:

“You have to understand, I’ve been involved in this for a long time. I have sources from the government. I’ve had my phone tapped. I’ve done a lot of weird stuff in this industry — people wouldn’t believe me if I told them.”

Nick Jonas rose to stardom as a youngster when he formed a band with big bros Kevin and Joe aptly named Jonas Brothers. After making it big with their debut single, they caught the eye of Disney and started appearing on the network in shows like Hannah Montana before getting their own.

From there, the brothers’ popularity exploded and became a household name before splitting up in 2013 (then getting back together in 2019).

Since then, Nick Jonas has put out multiple successful solo albums, been a coach on The Voice, and hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time in early 2021.
