Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi didn’t live-tweet with fans last Jerzday when “The Best Party Planner Ever” episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation aired. As she explained in a tweet, she didn’t want her three kids (Lorenzo, Giovanna, and Angelo) to watch the Jersey Shore cast “be slobs.” But one fan was quick to criticize Polizzi and her lack of “responsibility.” Find out what “Snooki” had to say in reply.

‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ cast gets drunk on a mansion boat

In the season 5 episode “Best Party Planner Ever,” the cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation embarks on a mansion boat during their trip to the Florida Keys. Deena Cortese booked the boat to make up for the mishap her murder mystery dinner caused among the roommates.

Much of the cast pre-gamed the mansion boat with drinks, continuing to drink throughout their time on the water. In the episode, Polizzi, Cortese, and Angelina Larangeira get drunk together and, as “Snooki” would describe, “have a good time.”

“Who enjoyed that hot mess s*** show of an episode last night?” Polizzi shared after the Mar. 10 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. “Sorry I couldn’t live tweet, I didn’t want my kids to watch us be slobs LOL.”

A fan replied: “So, Snooki, you don’t even take responsibility for you [behavior]? You should have thought about it before! What a great model for your kids!”

Shortly after, Polizzi replied to the tweet. “Please stop,” she started. “I’m a wonderful mother to kids, and allowed to act like a complete slob on vacation with my best friends.”

‘Snooki’ has played defense before with ‘Jersey Shore’ fans

This isn’t the first time Polizzi has defended herself online. In July 2021, the MTV reality star was criticized for sharing photos of Giovanna in her cheer uniform.

“Super blessed that my daughter shares the same passion for cheer like I do!” she captioned the photo. “Congrats to the sport of cheerleading for being recognized by the Olympic committee & considered an Olympic sport.”

Some of Polizzi’s followers thought she might be forcing cheerleading on Giovanna. “Did she have a choice?” reads a comment on the Instagram post. “From what I remember, you were having her trying to balance pretty early, then putting her in gymnastics, buying mats, etc.”

“Are you kidding?” Polizzi said in her reply. “I put her in a ton of sports and activities at an early age. Why are you mad?”

“I wasn’t aware allowing my kid to play sports at a young age was a crime. The f***,” Polizzi said on her Instagram Stories at the time, sharing a screenshot of the comment.

“Shared passion and being forced to do it from a young age are very different things,” said another Instagram user. “Clearly living your dream through her still.”

Once again, Polizzi stepped up to defend herself. “I never forced her to do anything,” she replied. “I put her in dance and soccer. She prefers cheer and loves it. Literally the worst.”
