The best scenario for any contestant would be to have a stellar performance and emotionally touch the judges leading to the pressing of the Golden Buzzer. Some contestants bring especially emotional performances due to the life stories they bring with them. Nightbirde is one of those extra special performers who offered an astounding performance and moved the judges with her story

Nightbirde brings viewers to tears

Nighbirde made her appearance this year on the 16th season of America’s Got Talent and has blown away the judges and audiences alike. She brought her best with her powerful voice and emotional story. Nightbirde has earned her place as one of the most talked-about acts of the whole AGT series.

That stage name, Nighbirde, belongs to 30-year-old Ohio native Jane Marczewski who took the AGT with her original song, “It’s Okay.” Before her performance, Nightbirde shared her devastating story. Hello Magazine quotes Nightbirde:

“‘It’s Okay’ is the story of the last year of my life. I have not been working the last few years, I have been dealing with cancer. Last time I checked, I had some cancer in my lungs, my spine, and my liver.”

Of course, the judges and audience were audibly moved and concerned after learning this situation but Nightbirde responds with, “It’s important that everyone knows I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me.”

Nightbirde got the well-deserved Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell and has grown quite a following on social media. Supporters frequently praise her for her positive attitude and strong outlook on life despite how sad her life appears.

One fan said, “You are like an angel on Earth. Where do you find the words, the thoughts, the beautiful perspective you have about life? You are blessed with many things and a blessing to anyone that hears you.”

Nightbirde offers update to devastated audiences

Jane Marczewski, also known as Nightbirde, was perfectly poised to win Season 16 of America’s Got Talent. But, via video link, she spoke with the judges and host Terry Crews and shared her departure from competition prior to the live shows due to her battle with cancer.

Her health has taken a turn for the worse and much to her fan’s dismay, is unable to continue. Hello! Magazine reports that Simon Cowell was visibly upset by the announcement. He responded:

“You made the decision rightly so that your health is your priority right now, and when we spoke you feel like you’ve let people down. And I just want to say on behalf of all of us that you haven’t let anyone down. Even though you haven’t competed you have already won.”
