Based on Liane Moriarty’s best-selling novel of the same name, Nine Perfect Strangers sees a group of characters attending a 10-day retreat at a boutique wellness resort called Tranquillum House. The establishment is run by Masha (Nicole Kidman), a mysterious woman whose methods of healing are somewhat unconventional. She and her staff guide the guests on their wellness journeys, but the group proves a volatile one.

The fact that they’re forced to fast, cut off the outside world, and embrace suffering doesn’t improve their stay. As the nine titular strangers get to know one another, the series seems to inch closer and closer to some kind of emotional explosion.
