The Texas-based band was about to release its first album in over a decade in May 2020, titled Gaslighter, when coronavirus (COVID-19) hit, and waylaid those plans.
Instead, the all-girl group dropped a single from the album at the end of April 2020 titled “Julianna Calm Down” and announced the album itself will see the light of day on July 17, 2020.
Their last album was in 2006, Taking the Long Way, which was the band’s response to being shunned by country music. This came after lead singer Natalie Maines famously criticized President George W.
