Offset Has an Entire Collection of Cars Dedicated to Nipsey Hussle
Offset and Cardi B both seem to love cars, hip hop, and each other. It’s fitting then that, after Nipsey Hussle was tragically killed, Offset dedicated an entire collection of luxury cars to him.
Offset, even when he’s doing his solo act, is one of the biggest names in the music world right now. Not only is he a successful musician, but he’s also married to Cardi B, who’s also a successful musician. Together, the hip hop power couple have a lot of money to throw around, and they often spend it on exotic and luxurious cars.
A quick look at Offset’s career so far
Although Offset’s solo act is taking off, he’s best known for his work in the hip hop trio, Migos. Like many groups, the members of Migos are actually related to each other. Offset is cousins with Quavo and Takeoff, and they all grew up together in Atlanta before Migos made it big.
While Migos is still going strong, Offset is branching out more. He’s gotten a few acting gigs, such as on Atlanta and NCIS, and he’s even investing in E-sports. His cousins are doing similar things, but Offset has been in the spotlight more than them because of his marriage to Cardi B.
They’ve had a child together, but that hasn’t stopped them from experiencing the ups and downs that all relationships go through. In any case, the two remain united through their mutual love of each other and, of course, their cars.
The tragedy of Nipsey Hussle
Hussle wasn’t as big or as famous of a musician as Offset was, but he had a big impact in his local community as well as in the music community. He used to be a gang member before he took up the microphone and made a name for himself.
His music was more popular in the underground hip hop scene, but he was slowly becoming more mainstream. All the meanwhile though, he never forgot where he came from and worked to improve his local community.
He understood that many boys will turn to gangs like he did, and he wanted to find a path for them to get out of gang life. Not only did he actively talk about his past in hopes of inspiring others to be someone better, but he also funded and participated in activities and programs that could make that happen. Tragically though, on March 31st, 2019, he was murdered by an acquaintance outside of his store.
His death led to many people in not just his community, but also from around the world, paying tribute to him. Offset was just one of these many mourners, and he mourned him in his own way.
Offset’s Nipsey Hussle collection
As Offset posted on Instagram, he had five exotic cars painted in a special shade of blue in memory of Hussle. These cars were, as Rap Current said, from left to right, a Bentley Bentayga, a Rolls-Royce Wraith, a Lamborghini Urus, a Lamborghini Aventador, and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. All of these luxury cars were given a custom paint job of “Nipsey Blue,” which is a shade of blue used to honor him.
This is obviously a rich and powerful collection by Offset, both literally and metaphorically. The Bentayga has a 440-hp engine and it starts at $160,000. The Wraith has a 620-hp engine and it starts at $320,000. The Urus has a 640-hp engine and starts at $200,000. The Aventador has a 730-hp engine and it starts at $420,000. The Cullinan has a 560-hp engine and it starts at $320,000.
Combined, Offset’s Nipsey Hussle collection has almost 3,000-hp and it cost over $1.4 million.
