After seven years of a tumultuous relationship, the couple has decided to call it quits. Kardashian, who has been dealing with her husband’s mental health issues, filed divorce papers this week.
Some fans were devastated by the news, while others were quick to note that they are ready to have the “Old Kim” back.
Fans are ready for the ‘pre-Kanye Kim’
On a recent Reddit forum, supporters of the Kardashian-West family started to express how they felt about the news of the divorce. Fans replied to an original post that suggested, “KIMYE divorce = old Kim is back!”
A photo from Kardashian’s Instagram page for her Skims line of lingerie accompanied the post. The mother of four is seen in a seductive pose, with long wavy hair, wearing only a cream-colored silk top and no pants.
Fans were quick to chime in with their opinions of the newly posted photo, sans wedding ring. A Reddit user commented, “I’m here for it.”
Kardashian is looking better than ever
Another fan said, “I’ve definitely been getting the vibe from her Instagram that the old Kim is returning! Even if her and Kanye are working it out, maybe she’s putting her foot down on things a bit and having more control of her image.”
Recently her Instagram page has been filled with vintage throwback photos of her family, pics of her kids, and lots of marketing for Skims. The shots that are standing out most to fans are the selfies of Kardashian that are reminiscent of the past.
Glamour shots filled with sexy poses and pouty lips now fill her Instagram timeline. Gone is any hint of her soon-to-be ex-husband, replaced by family, friends, and lots of fun. It seems the busy entrepreneur is ready to turn the page of her failed relationship and is looking better than ever.
A Reddit user commented that the photo posted on the forum has “2009 vibes.” They said, “She looks so Kim K and bomb with this type of makeup and hair.” Another noted that she looks “so much younger and softer.”
Fans also noticed the red lipstick, saying that she rarely wore it because West didn’t approve. A forum user summed up what everyone was feeling, saying, “I’ve been missing the old her.”
Will Kardashian have a new style after the divorce is final?
Last year, the beauty mogul confessed to New York Magazine that her relationship with West was forcing her to dress less sexy. She expressed, “My husband has voiced that sometimes too sexy is just overkill, and he’s not comfortable with that.”
