Omega X Release Music Video for ‘LIAR’
On Jan. 5, the K-pop group Omega X released an EP titled LOVE ME LIKE. The EP‘s lead single is “LOVE ME LIKE,” and Omega X released a music video for the single alongside the album. On March 10, the K-pop group released a music video for “LIAR,” a B-side track from LOVE ME LIKE.
Omega X dropped a music video for ‘LIAR’
“Liar” shows a tender and emotional side of Hangyeom, Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan. Jaehan, Hangyeom, and Yechan each participated in the songwriting on the track.
“I pour my sincerity and heart into each and every song I write, and ‘LIAR’ is no different,” Yechan said of the song in a press release. “It’s an affectionate track for me, and I’m so happy and proud it’s been included in this album. I hope FOR X finds our LOVE ME LIKE album relatable, and the album also brings us closer to our fans.”
The band released a music video for the track on March 10. In the music video, the members of Omega X pensively reflect on a relationship.
“I’m a liar/ I’m lying to you/ So you would never know/ My feelings that only I know/ I’m a liar/ I’m making a promise that I can’t keep/ To the person I want to protect/ Hoping it’s the right thing to do to hold you,” the band sings in “Liar.”
There are five songs on ‘LOVE ME LIKE’
Including the lead single and “LIAR,” LOVE ME LIKE has five songs. In addition to co-writing the lyrics to “LIAR,” members of the group also participated in the songwriting for “Please.”
In a press release, Hangyeom shared, “I’m ecstatic to see our fans again so soon with a fast comeback. In this album, I’ve participated in the making of two tracks, ‘LIAR’ and ‘PLEASE’. Please look forward to them! I’ll continue to work hard and create the best songs for our FOR X to enjoy!!!”

“I believe this album really displays our diversity as a group. In addition, I hope to show a new charm and side of Omega X our fans have yet to see, particularly through our self-composed B-side tracks. Omega X debuted in 2021
Hangyeom, Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan debuted as Omega X with Spire Entertainment on June 30, 2021.
Each member of the band previously debuted with K-pop groups that disbanded or are currently inactive. The K-pop group’s name is a combination of the last letter of the Greek alphabet, Omega (Ω), with the letter X.
Following their debut, Omega X were nominated for multiple Rookie of the Year Awards including at the Golden Disc Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and Hanteo Music Awards.
