What is One Chicago Day? Fans of ‘Chicago Fire,’ ‘Chicago P.D.,’ and ‘Chicago Med’ get their own event
NBC’s One Chicago day brings together fans who’ve been watching Chicago Fire Season 10, Chicago P.D. Season 9, and Chicago Med Season 7. Looper explains it’s a one-hour virtual event for fans to watch live.
A tweet from the official One Chicago Twitter shares what fans can look forward to. Several cast and crew members will gather virtually to answer certain prompts. For Chicago Med, they’ll go over their favorite scenes from the series and discuss the women of the show. Additionally, S. Epatha Merkerson, who plays Sharon Goodwin, and Oliver Platt, who plays Dr. Daniel Charles, host a discussion about their characters.
Chicago Fire fans will have discussions with the cast and crew regarding fan theories for the show and the “journey of Stella Kidd.” They’ll take fan questions at the end.
For Chicago P.D., cast and crew will gather to discuss their favorite scenes from the show. They also have a segment titled “Everybody loves Trudy,” seemingly about Trudy Platt. Another segment is titled “Chicago Aquatic.”
Date, time, and how to watch the event
What is the One Chicago Day 2022 date and time, and how can fans watch? The One Chicago Twitter notes the event begins on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. EST. It will last approximately one hour.
The event takes place on the One Chicago YouTube channel. Once the event concludes, the video will live on the channel afterward, so fans who can’t watch it live can catch up with it later.
Prior to the event, the One Chicago YouTube and Twitter posted a trailer of what’s to come. “It’s finally here,” actors from Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Fire say to the camera. “One Chicago Day!” Hank Voight actor Jason Beghe says.
“We have a lot of great stuff that you won’t want to miss,” Jay Halstead actor Jesse Lee Soffer adds.
Most importantly, Kelly Severide actor Taylor Kinney addresses a question all Chicago Fire fans have. “I do not know when the wedding is,” he says about Severide and Stella Kidd’s big day in the teaser.

Once One Chicago Day 2022 concludes, fans can look forward to new episodes of Chicago Fire Season 10, Chicago P.D. Season 9, and Chicago Med Season 7. New episodes of all three shows air on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, on NBC after the most recent hiatus.
