One Direction‘s Niall Horan has been hard at work since the band went on hiatus in 2015. He released his first solo album, Flicker, in 2017, and toured the album as well. The star has also been busy with his golf management company, Modest! Golf. Horan announced on Twitter on April 27 that he is getting involved in a new business endeavor, and today, he announced what it is.

Niall Horan has been busy releasing and making music the last year

Horan started out in 2020 by releasing Heartbreak Weather, his latest album after Flicker. His second album peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Official U.K. Albums chart on March 28. This surpassed the success of Flicker, which peaked at No. 3 on the same chart.

Following Heartbreak Weather, Horan later in the year worked with Ashe on the “Moral of the Story” remix in June. Now, he’s doing something new that is seemingly uncharted territory for him.

The One Direction singer mysteriously teased a video of himself inside a clothing store on April 27. He simply said “hello” in the clip, sitting front and center in a store. Horan stated that fans could “find out more” the following day on what the new career path would be for the singer.

He held his promise and revealed what his next business endeavor is on April 28.

Horan took to Twitter on April 28 to share the news that he invested in the Irish clothing company, Gym+Coffee. The video he shared continued the clip from the day before.

“I want to let you know about an incredible Irish business and a great success story,” he said in the full extended video. “I am very proud to announce that I have invested in this brand and its amazing community.”

Horan stated that Gym+Coffee’s mission on being healthy and active is what “inspired” him to get more involved in the business. “The fact that they’re Irish is an absolute bonus for me,” the Irish singer added.

“I’ve been a fan of theirs for a while now and I’m excited to support the brand and help bring Gym+Coffee to a global stage,” he wrote online.

Horan’s involvement as an investor and adviser will undoubtedly not just help the company monetarily, but also bring about more awareness of the brand, as well. The singer shared his exciting new endeavor on his social media. He has over 40 million Twitter followers and 27 million Instagram followers.

Fans will likely support the brand since it’s coming from Horan and help this Irish business reach new heights. It’s surely exciting to see Horan get involved in new business opportunities that go beyond music and golf.
