There’s Only 1 BTS Member Who Prefers Hiking in the Woods to Relaxing on a Tropical Island
These performers work well together, but when it comes to their hobbies and interests, they couldn’t be more different. Here’s what each of the BTS members had to say about hiking in the forest instead of spending a day on a tropical island.
The BTS members shared who prefers to go hiking
They’re award-winning singers and dancer, performing songs like “Dynamite” at the MTV Video Music Awards and “Old Town Road” at the Grammy Awards. Now, they’re preparing for the release of their upcoming album, titled Be.
For one video, the BTS members had to choose between two things. These members were pretty split when it came to choosing between chocolate and vanilla. When the question was between a tropical island and hiking in the woods, the answer of these performers was a resounding “tropical island.”
“Hiking is so hard,” Jungkook said, with some of the other members agreeing. That is, except for one member. RM, one of the rappers in the group, who prefers going hiking in the forest.
“We need walking,” RM said, standing firm on his choice. “We are getting old, day by day. For your health, man.”
During the same interview, the leader of this K-pop group also chose sweet instead of salty things “for your health,” shouting out sweet corn. Suga was the only member who prefers salty foods to sweet.
BTS did enjoy a period of ‘rest and relaxation’ during 2019
After the release of Map of the Soul: Persona and a world tour, these performers had a chance to step back, thanks to a “period of rest and relaxation” during the late summer of 2019. Some of them shared their adventures on social media. Jimin traveled, Suga spent time with his dog, V met up with a few of his friends.
When it came to RM, this rapper spent his time abroad, sharing a vlog of his European trip with fans. Even when he’s not on a break, though, this performer finds time to explore different art galleries and museums.
RM often posts pictures when he goes for a walk or hiking
These performers are pretty busy — writing and recording music for the group. Whenever there’s some free time, though, RM is sure to spend it either out in nature, in a museum, or in a gallery.
He often posts pictures of his adventures, sharing them with the BTS ARMY on Twitter. Most recently, that included a trip to the BTS pop-up shop in Seoul, where RM posed with a cartoon version of himself.
The “Dynamite” music video is now available on YouTube. Music by BTS, including their recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major platforms.
