Danielle and Adam Busby are seriously amazing parents, as they’re taking care of the only set of all-female quintuplets in the U.S. And since they also have their older daughter, Blayke, this means they have six daughters in total. Thanks to TLC’s OutDaughtered, we get to see exactly how Adam and Danielle go about parenting all their little girls — and fans have plenty of questions for the down-to-earth couple.

Danielle’s gotten candid with her followers via Instagram and her blog when it came to her pregnancy and post-baby body, too. She’s a huge fitness lover and frequently posts advice to her fans who wonder how she seemingly does it all. And she recently got real with an Instagram follower about loose skin she still has from the quints.

Danielle Busby ate up to 4,500 calories a day while pregnant with quintuplets

Danielle infamously struggled with pregnancy, and she documented her entire journey on her It’s a Buzz World blog. When she finally discovered she was pregnant with quintuplets after her fertility treatments, she knew it was a gift from God. And preparing for the arrival of quintuplets was a much different process than how she originally prepared for her first daughter, Blayke.

“During my quintuplet pregnancy, I was ‘doing what I have to for the babies.’ That meant going on a 4,500-calorie-a-day diet and forgetting everything I learned about eating clean and healthy foods,” Danielle noted. And in order to hit her caloric goals, this often meant she had to house the dessert before her actual meal — otherwise, she’d be too low in her caloric intake. She also called the entire process of eating so much “exhausting,” and she admits it sounds much better in theory.

Adam Busby stated Danielle’s never had work done to her body

Danielle and Adam are avid fitness fans, and they even had their own cycling studio for quite awhile. Not only that, but Danielle came out with her own fitness apparel, too. And she’s talked about her at-home workouts she uses to stay in shape.

“You can use objects around the house to help too.. like the counter top for pushups, or the stairs for tricep dips or cardio…run up and down, skip a step…so many things you can do with the stairs,” she explained on her blog.

There’s still been a ton of speculation that the mom of six has had work done, as fans can’t believe she was able to bounce back so quickly and effectively. But Adam has come to her defense to tell Instagram followers that she’s never had a tummy tuck.

“No tummy tuck,” Adam told the follower who asked how Danielle stays trim. “She is just very blessed with good genetics and a strong work ethic for working out.”

Danielle got real to an Instagram follower about ‘extra skin’

On April 22, Danielle posted a photo of her working out next to a few of the quints. “I had some workout buddies this morning! Parker & Ava sat and watched me during me Hiit Workout,” she wrote. “So many questions and critiquing. I asked them to join me but they both said no way. 
However, I did a yoga cool down after and these two birds love yoga and did the whole session with me! They did so great!”

Danielle is showing off her bare belly in the photo, and it left fans with questions. “I’m honestly curious. I’ve always noticed how great you look after having had 5 kids. I know you workout all the time, but how did you not have extra skin? It was it removed?” one follower commented.

To that, Danielle responded, “no surgery like that, No tummy tuck. I do have extra skin after having girls. I took amazing care of my on belly during pregnancy bc I knew it would stretch and hurt, and it did. But lots of oils and creams helped during the pregnancy time.” Danielle then added that she loves working her core the most during workouts.
