‘OutDaughtered’: Danielle Busby Shares What She Loves About Her ‘Miracle Babies’ as Quints Turn 5
Happy birthday to the Busby quints! The five adorable stars of TLC’s OutDaughtered — Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley, and Parker — turned five years old on April 8.
While concerns about the coronavirus meant that there was no big party for the girls, mom Danielle Busby and dad Adam Busby made sure that their youngest daughters still had a special day (just like they did for daughter Blayke, who turned nine a few days before her sisters). Photos posted to Instagram show the family’s house decorated with balloons and flowers, and each girl got her own individual birthday cake.
Danielle Busby shares what she loves about her daughters
Danielle, 36, took to social media to share what she loves about her “miracle babies.” (After she and Adam, 37, struggled to conceive naturally, Danielle became pregnant with Blayke and the quintuplets after undergoing intrauterine insemination.)
“You all make me smile, laugh, cry and lose my mind all in one day,” Danielle wrote. “I LOVE EACH ONE OF YOU TREMENDOUSLY and I am so BLESSED to be called your Mommy / Mama / Mom.”
She then shared a specific message for each quint:
Ava – I love how lazy and goofy you have always been.
Olivia – I love how you are on a mission every day to make whoever is around you laugh.
Hazel – I love that you are so loving and how you love to repeat everything like Yeah Yeah from Sandlot.
Riley – I love that you are so strong-willed and the older you get, the more and more I feel like you are more like me.
Parker Kate – I love that you have the best smile ever and that you think you are the ‘big sister’ when you are actually my baby baby.
Oldest daughter Blayke wasn’t left out. A few days earlier, Danielle had a message for her as well. “Happy Birthday to my babygirl!” she wrote. “Not enough words to describe how amazing of a little girl you are. You are one of a kind and I’m so proud to be your Mommy.”
“This year we have had to celebrate your special day a lot different … and we had to postpone your party, and I hate this for you,” she continued. “But you surprise me with your maturity and understanding.”
Adam Busby also wished his girls happy birthday
Dad Adam also had a message for Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley, and Parker.
“If you are 5, RAISE YOUR HAND!” he wrote on Instagram. “Wow! I can’t believe that the quints are FIVE! So proud of these little ladies. Hate that they are growing up so fast. Can time please slow down?”
On Blayke’s birthday, he also posted about watching his oldest child grow up.
“Happy Birthday to our Blaykers,” he wrote. “To see how she has carried herself through life with such grace, love and compassion for others is truly something to behold as a parent. Love this kid to the moon and back.”
