In reality, Stokes and Cline’s relationship is going strong. Stokes and Cline met in April 2019, despite the rumors about the duo meeting on the set of Stranger Things. “[We met] a week and a half or two weeks [before filming] Outer Banks,” Stokes told Life & Style.
Shortly after Outer Banks Season 1 debuted, fans started speculating Stokes and Cline could be an item, thanks to their on-screen chemistry. Then there were Stokes’ flirty comments on Cline’s Instagram.
On June 14, 2020, Stokes and Cline made their relationship status public. “Cat’s outta the bag,” he captioned a photo on Instagram. Since then, the couple has been very open about their relationship on social media.
