‘Outlander’: Fans Hated These Episodes the Most
If you’re a big fan of the time-travel romance Outlander, you likely enjoy most of the show’s episodes. However, there are some episodes fans don’t care for. Here are 10 Outlander episodes that received the lowest IMDb fan ratings.
10. Castle Leoch (Season 1, Episode 2)
- Rating: 8.7 out of 10 stars
This episode was the best of the worst according to fans. In this episode, Claire wonders about her husband and what he must have been thinking after she disappeared. Jamie comes to the rescue, comforting her with an embrace.
9. By the Pricking of My Thumbs (Season 1, Episode 10)
- Rating: 8.7 out of 10 stars
During this episode, the Duke of Sandringham comes to town. The audience also learns of Geillis’ affair and the revelation that she’s having a baby with Dougal MacKenzie.
8. The Reckoning (Season 1, Episode 9)
- Rating: 8.7 out of 10 stars
Jamie and the Highlanders help Claire escape from Black Jack Randall. There’s also a bit of drama during this episode after Jamie’s former lover tries to get him to rekindle their romance.
7. Do No Harm (Season 4, Episode 2)
- Rating: 8.6 out of 10 stars
Jamie and Claire visit his aunt Jacosta during this episode. The couple struggles with deciding between the law and what’s right.
6. Useful Occupations and Deceptions (Season 2, Episode 3)
- Rating: 8.6 out of 10 stars
During season 2, episode 3, Claire finds comfort in her ability to heal people. Jamie and Claire continue to work on their plan to stop Culloden.
5. Not in Scotland Anymore (Season 2, Episode 2)
- Rating: 8.6 out of 10 stars
During the second episode in season 2, Jamie tries to overcome his past.
4. The Search (Season 1, Episode 14)
- Rating: 8.6 out of 10 stars
During episode 14 of the first season, Claire and Jenny attempt to rescue Jamie from his captors.
3. Sassenach (Season 1, Episode 1)
- Rating: 8.6 out of 10 stars
The very first episode of Outlander is when we are first introduced to Claire and Jamie.
2. The Fox’s Lair (Season 2, Episode 8)
- Rating: 8.5 out of 10 stars
This was rated the second-worst episode by fans. During episode 8 of the second season, Claire and Jamie reach out to Jamie’s grandsire Lord Lovat.
1. Crème de Menthe (Season 3, Episode 7)
- Rating: 8.4 out of 10 stars
Fans rated this the worst Outlander episode. During episode 7 of season 3, Claire goes with her gut and does what she feels is right as a surgeon. However, she risks putting her and Jamie’s life at risk.
