Outlander fans just can’t get enough of this series. One fan took to Reddit to share her obsession and ask other fans if the obsession over the show ever gets better. Instead, other obsessed viewers showed her how to feed her addiction even more. Here’s how fans pushed her further into the world of Outlander.

This fan asked Redditors if her Outlander obsession will ever go away

One superfan reached out to other fans on Reddit to ask about her increasing appetite for all things Outlander. She can’t seem to satisfy her craving for the show, so she asked fellow viewers if they have any idea when it all ends. Will she ever get back to a normal life? Here’s what the fan posted on Reddit:

I stumbled on Outlander when I was idly browsing Netflix. Y’all. I was consumed. A little over a month later, four seasons, 8000+ pages (Outlander, Lord John Grey, and novellas), and I’m ready for a second binge and read-through. So, I must ask: Does it ever stop? The wanting? Edit: Just to be clear, I did read all eight books of the Outlander series, read all of the Lord John Grey Series, read all of the novellas, and watched all four seasons in about five weeks. I’m a tad bit obsessed.

Fans suggested getting the Outlander audiobooks

Some fans recommended listening to Outlander audiobooks once completing the book series. Many said listening to someone narrate the books in a Scottish accent breathes new life into the story. “If you want to really continue the magic, try listening to the audiobooks narrated by Davina Porter. Listening to the way she does the Scottish accents and hearing how the Scottish words are pronounced just makes the story so much better, [in my humble opinion],” wrote the fan.

Another fan agreed with the audiobook recommendation, saying this is a good way to dive into the books, especially if you have a long commute. “I have an hour commute, so I listen to a lot of audiobooks, and Davina Porter is one of the best. She has so many accents, and I never get confused with who is speaking, she’s really just fantastic.”

Viewers agreed the Outlander obsession doesn’t get better

Unfortunately, the Reddit poster probably didn’t get the answer she was looking for. Most fans agreed there’s no escaping the Outlander Obsession. “No, the wanting never stops,” said one viewer. Another fan said she has been re-reading the books ever since they were first published. “No, it doesn’t [get better]. I’ve been reading these books since Outlander was published and I’m not tired of them yet. In fact, I can’t wait to read the latest one. Then again, I’ll read them over and over until the next one. Rinse, Repeat.”

Another fan said an Outlander addiction isn’t such a bad thing

Someone else joined the conversation to let the poster know she’s not alone and that she could be addicted to something much worse. The commenter left this humorous message:

I might not remember basic high school math, but I now know every line from book 1/season 1 by heart now. There is just something so satisfying about a Scottish accent and a complicated romance to get me through a long day. It’s either this or I take up day drinking. So, I’ll stick to my books.
