‘Outlander’ Season 6 Episode Titles Reveal All the Juicy Drama to Come
A new season of Outlander is almost here. And to give fans a little taste of what’s coming to Fraser’s Ridge, the show has revealed titles for each new episode of Season 6.
How many episodes is ‘Outlander’ Season 6?
The last few seasons of Outlander aired with 12 to 13 episodes each. But because of pandemic-related delays, the show will air a much shorter installment in 2022.
Outlander Season 6 will air eight episodes in total with a 90-minute premiere. The good news is that showrunner Matthew B. Roberts promises to make it up to fans with a much longer season 7.
“We are excited to get into the editing room to work on bringing the fans one step closer to reuniting with the family back on Fraser’s Ridge,” he said in a statement. “Filming in 2021 has presented an unprecedented set of challenges which led us to the decision to truncate the season in order to bring the fans the most vibrant and dynamic season as soon as possible.”
“Dinna fash,” Roberts added, quoting Jamie Fraser. “We will then film an extended season seven with 16 episodes next year as life returns to normalcy.”
The new titles serve as an ‘Outlander’ episode guide for season 6
Droughtlanders are tough enough as it is. But this past one has been one of the longest and most challenging for Outlander fans to endure.
Luckily, the STARZ series will be back in March. And to get fans excited for the new season, the series’ Twitter page revealed every episode title for season 6. Here’s the list:
- Episode 1 — “Echoes’
- Episode 2 — “Allegiance”
- Episode 3 — “Temperance”
- Episode 4 — “Hour of the Wolf”
- Episode 5 — “Give Me Liberty”
- Episode 6 — “The World Turned Upside Down”
- Episode 7 — “Sticks and Stones’
- Episode 8 — “ I Am Not Alone”
The ‘Outlander’ Season 6 trailer teases trouble for the Frasers
The episode titles aren’t the only things hinting at the chaos to come. A thrilling trailer for Outlander Season 6 teases new additions to Fraser’s Ridge will cause trouble for Jamie (Sam Heughan), Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Roger (Rick Rankin), and Brianna (Sophie Skelton). And it also hints at the start of the American Revolution.
“I think we see a lot of things come to roost this season that changes Claire and Jamie’s perspective of where they stand within their community,” Caitriona Balfe told Entertainment Weekly for its Ultimate Guide to Outlander issue. “And definitely some of her bullishness and that blind faith in doing the right thing get a little bit knocked within Claire.”

After waiting for nearly two years, fans are anxiously wondering when they’ll see the Frasers again. Luckily, the Outlander new season premiere is almost here.
Outlander Season 6 will return on Sunday, March 6, 2022, on STARZ. The season will run for eight weeks, with new episodes airing weekly at 9 p.m. EST on Sundays.
