The hit Starz drama series P-Valley chronicles Uncle Clifford (Nicco Annan), the non-gender confirming owner of the highly popular strip club, The Pynk. A staple in the fictional town of Chucalissa, Mississippi, in season 1, Uncle Clifford scrambled to keep his doors opened, despite threats from a forthcoming casino and a greedy mayor. The series also followed the lives of his dancers. Headliner, Mercedes (Brandee Evans), was on the verge of retirement, Miss Mississippi (Shannon Thornton) was learning to stand on her own, and newcomer Autumn (Elarica Johnson), was hiding a dark secret.

Now almost two years after it first debuted, season 2 is on the horizon, but will Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion appear on P-Valley?

Filming for ‘P-Valley’ Season 2 has wrapped

After seven months of filming, the second season of P-Valley has finally wrapped. It’s been nearly two years since the first season debuted. However, amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, filming could not begin until safety precautions were put in place.

Though Starz has not yet announced a release date, showrunner and creator Katori Hall has hinted at what’s to come. Autumn now co-owns The Pynk with Uncle Clifford which should be interesting to watch. “She came in getting her a** smacked on the dance floor and now, she has some ownership in the club,” Hall explained to ELLE. “The power dynamics at the club have completely changed and to see Uncle Clifford and Hailey fight over the throne will be stuff of legends.”

Also, now that her mother has stolen her life savings and her plans for retirement, Mercedes will be forced to start from scratch. “You’re going to see a lot of things that happen outside the club this season, making it humanizing as well because everyone has a life when they go home from their job and so do these women and these men in the club as well,” Evans told Gold Derby.

In Season 2, fans will also see a major artist step into The Pynk.

Will Megan Thee Stallion appear in season 2?

In a recent behind-the-scenes video, Hall hinted at what fans can expect to see music-wise from the series. “We’ve got this major artist that everyone knows and loves, but I’m not going to tell you just yet who that is,” she said in the YouTube video. However, fans are now speculating that the artist is the Hot Girl Coach herself.

Baller Alert is reporting that Megan Thee Stallion is rumored to appear on the forthcoming second season of P-Valley. They report, “filming for season 2 just wrapped down in Atlanta, and Meg was recently spotted on set.” This isn’t the first time the “W.A.P.” rapper has been linked to the drama series.

Back in 2021, Annan and Evans starred in the video for her single “Movie” featuring Lil Durk. Megan has not confirmed or denied the rumors. However, she did share a recent photo dump on Instagram captioning it, “Been working be back soon – megs💙”

She also shared a picture of a trailer with her initials on it. However, she blurred out the name of the show or film.
