Pete Davidson Said He Would Go ‘Insane’ if He Saw This ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star — ‘I’d Lose My F**king Mind’
Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson may be dating the queen of reality TV, The Kardashians’ Kim Kardashian, but he’s definitely a 90 Day Fiancé stan. The King of Staten Island star revealed that he would go “insane” if he saw his favorite 90 Day Fiancé character. He said, “I’d lose my f**king mind.”
Pete Davidson is ‘obsessed’ with Big Ed
On May 6, 2021, Pete was interviewed for the Breakfast Club where he revealed his pandemic obsession, 90 Day Fiancé. He said, “Luckily I got into ’90 Day Fiancé,’ do you watch that? Are you watching ‘The Single Life’ with Big Ed?” He spoke to one of the hosts about their shared love of the series. Check out the full interview below:
He explained, “Dude, there’s this guy named Big Ed and he’s got some sort of disorder where neck bone… basically he has no neck.” Pete said that the funniest thing is that Big Ed exclusively dates women younger than his daughter.
The comedian said, “And he has very high standards, and the dude’s like 4’11″” However, Pete admits, “He was kind of a hunk when he was younger. He was like bulk. He looked good.”
When the host asked Pete what his favorite 90 Day Fiancé star was, he said, “I’m obsessed with all of them.” He did mention Big Ed as his favorite, though. Pete said, “I wouldn’t get like freaked out if I saw Leonardo DeCaprio, but if I saw Big Ed walking down 6th ave, I would lose my f**king mind. I would go insane.”
When asked more about Big Ed, Pete showed his vast knowledge of the 90 Day Fiancé star. He said, “He lives in San Diego. And his mom actually just moved in with him as well. And he has a little dog named Teddy. Why do I know all of this.” The SNL star concluded, “He’s a riot, dude. He’s so fun to watch. I’m obsessed with that guy. That whole show.”
Pete Davidson reveals his favorite ’90 Day Fiancé’ couples
As it turns out, Pete is also a fan of other 90 Day Fiancé couples. He said, “My favorite couples are Michael [Ilesanmi] and Angela [Deem]. ‘Cause she’s just like mid-fifties, MAGA, has two packs of cigarettes in her titties and she’ll just be like ‘Michael!’ She’s a riot.”
Pete revealed that he’s also a massive fan of Colt Johnson. He said, “And my other favorite guy to follow because he’s such a jerk and I love it is Colt [Johnson].” He continued, “He lives with his mom, but not like how I live with my mom. He lives with his mom the way I’m afraid people will think I live with my mom.”
Pete tried to paint a picture of Colt and Debbie Johnson’s too-close-for-comfort relationship. He says, “Like, he lives with his mom, but he’s like ‘mornin’ mommy.’ He’s like, ‘what are we doing today?'”
Besides his love of Big Ed, Angela and Michael, and Colt, the SNL star also talked about Nigerian singer Usman’ Sojaboy’ Umar. He even called the song Sojaboy wrote for his then-wife Lisa Hamme, I Love You, a “bop.” He said, overall, 90 Day Fiancé is “very addicting to watch.”
Big Ed is a huge fan of Pete Davidson too
On May 15, 2021, Big Ed made a special video message for Pete in his Cameo. In the video, Big Ed slides into frame wearing a chicken hat and a fuzzy pair of slippers, dancing to Elvis Presley’s Hound Dog. Big Ed says, “Yo Pete, what’s up my brother from another mother?”
He said, “Pete, I understand you’re a huge fan of the show.” He continued, “But listen, the whole Cameo team found out that you’re a fan of big ed, and they’re a fan of you. I absolutely love you on The King of Staten Island, I believe, and then, of course, Saturday Night Live. You’re the funniest.”
He then invited Pete to come to California to visit him, his mom, and his dog Teddy. He said, “By the way, come down to San Diego, kick it with my mom and Teddy. We’ll go drink some Malbec or do whatever you want. And thanks again for the love.”
