Photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis Misbehaving, Throwing Tantrums and Making Us Laugh
As parents of small children know, kids sometimes misbehave and throw temper tantrums at what seems like the worst times. A toddler can throw a fit in a department store, a supermarket, a restaurant, or any other public place. That’s also true for royal children except when they act up the whole world sees.
Below are some photos and videos of those moments when the Wales kiddos were being naughty and even having a few meltdowns.
Kate Middleton correcting Prince George at her sister’s wedding
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are seasoned pros now when it comes to serving as a page boy and a bridesmaid in weddings. But it wasn’t always that way.
Once upon a time, George wasn’t on his best behavior at his Aunt Pippa’s wedding and he got into trouble for it. According to the Daily Mail, the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) spotted George purposely stepping on the train of Pippa’s gown. The duchess was then seen scolding her eldest child for his actions. The moment was captured outside the church and ended with the future king in tears.
Princess Charlotte throws a royal tantrum on the tarmac
Can a video of a temper tantrum be adorable? If Princess Charlotte is throwing it then the answer is yes.
In this video, we feel for Kate because she’s trying to smile and keep everything calm but Charlotte wasn’t having any of it. And cameras rolled as the royal tot threw a tantrum.
This occurred in 2017 on the final day of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge’s royal visit to Germany. Charlotte threw a fit, and herself, on the tarmac before her mom picked her up and talked to her for a few moments to get her to stop crying.
Prince Louis’ mad face on the royal balcony
Prince Louis wasn’t seen as much as his siblings following his birth in April 2018 so fans couldn’t wait to see his royal balcony debut at Trooping the Colour in 2019. Louis’ appearance was a memorable one as he nearly stole the show with his “mad face.”
The youngest of Will and Kate’s children had a mad look on his face in several photos. In one, his father is trying to get his attention but the little prince’s only concern is whatever he was scowling at.
Prince George freaks out at the Royal Air Show
In July 2016, Prince George attended the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, England, with his parents. At first, the young prince wasn’t thrilled to be taking in the world’s largest military show and was seen having a bit of a tantrum.
Us Weekly noted that onlookers said his mom came to the rescue when George started to cry and move his arms about. Soon after that the prince wiped his tears, waved to the crowds, and looked happy when he was shown the Red Arrow Hawk and Royal Air Force Squirrel helicopters up close.
Princess Charlotte sticks her tongue out at reporters
Following the King’s Cup regatta in August 2019, Kate is seen telling her daughter to wave to the crowd below which included several reporters. But instead of giving a little wave, the princess stuck her tongue out much to the surprise of her mother.
The press though could not help but laugh at Charlotte’s cheeky action.
Prince George trying not to crack up in church
Prince George has been known to get into some mischief over the years with Princess Anne’s granddaughter, Savannah Phillips. Savannah is the daughter of Peter Phillips and his ex-wife Autumn Kelly.
Savannah and George were both in Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12, 2018, and after Savannah said something to the prince he had to cover his mouth so he wouldn’t be heard laughing and giggling in church.
Prince William was not amused at George and his cousin’s antics
In 2018, during Trooping The Colour, photos were snapped of Prince William on the royal balcony not looking happy that Savannah was messing around with George. She was photographed covering his mouth with her hand.
The cameras didn’t catch William saying anything to his cousin’s daughter or his son but you can tell the now-Prince of Wales was not amused that Savannah and George were goofing off during the ceremony.
