On the website, Drummond often gives her fans an inside look at family events, including her daughter’s recent wedding. To gear up for the summer, Drummond offered her take on multiple summer recipes. One item the Pioneer Woman presented on her page is the “best ever grilled ribs.” The recipe calls for the ribs to be “cooked entirely on the grill.” However, Drummond warned that the ribs take “time and patience” to complete, but are “totally worth it!”

Drummond also includes summer side dishes on her website. Some of the chef’s Fourth of July recipes are her grilled corn with spicy bacon butter, green potato salad, and colorful coleslaw.

“You can make the best mojito in just two simple steps,” the post reads. “First, muddle the ingredients: place the mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar in a cocktail shaker and muddle to release the juices from the lime and the oils from the mint. The sugar helps to “bruise” the mint leaves and bring out more flavor. Next, shake it up with the rum and some ice. Once chilled, the mojitos are served over ice with club soda and lots of mint and lime slices for a pretty presentation.”

Toward the end of the post, The Pioneer Woman’s team offered a hack for those who don’t own a muddler but still want to make a mojito. The recipe states that “you can always use the back of a wooden spoon” if the kitchen tool isn’t available.
