How to find and catch Landorus in ‘Pokémon Legends: Arceus’
Before heading out in search of Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus, Pokémon Legends: Arceus players need to obtain Request 94 – Incarnate Forces of Hisui from Cogita. This isn’t possible until you’ve beaten the main gameplay and completed the “Seeking the Remaining Plates” mission. After that, a visit to the Galaxy Team’s headquarters should prompt Cogita to initiate this task. Then, all three genie Pokémon will appear under the right conditions.
After obtaining Request 94, trainers can travel to the Obsidian Fieldlands and find Landorus on Ramanas Island. It will be near the area where an Alpha Infernape and several Chimchar typically roam. It’s worth noting that Landorus will only show up here in sunny weather. And finding the Legendary Pokémon is only the first step to catching it.
Landorus will be surrounded by winds when trainers come upon it, and they need to throw items in order to get its guard down. Only then will they be able to enter into a battle with the Legendary. And that’s a running theme with this trio.
How to find and catch Thundurus in ‘Pokémon Legends: Arceus’
After finding and catching Landorus, how can Pokémon Legends: Arceus players add Thundurus to their Pokédex? True to its name, Thundurus only shows up when there’s heavy rain. It resides in the Cobalt Coastlands, so players will need to keep resting and refreshing there until they get the weather they need.
Once it’s storming in the Cobalt Coastlands, trainers can find Thundurus between the two curved fixtures protruding from the ocean. Like Landorus, it will hide behind gusts, so players need to hit it with an item in order to get its attention. Once they do, they can start a battle and add this Legendary Pokémon to their Hisui Pokédex.
How to find and catch Tornadus in ‘Pokémon Legends: Arceus’
Finding and catching Tornadus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus requires a similar process to snagging Thundurus. This Legendary is found in the Alabaster Icelands, but it only appears when a snowstorm is underway. Like with Thundurus, players can keep resting until they come across the appropriate weather conditions. Then, they can head over to the Bonechill Wastes to battle Tornadus.
When Tornadus crops up, he’ll be surrounded by icy winds. So, once again, trainers need to hit it with an item to start a battle. Once they do, it all comes down to lowering its HP enough to catch it. As always, saving beforehand is a solid strategy for all three of these Pokémon just in case they slip away.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is currently available for Nintendo Switch.
