Porsha Williams Teases ‘Bravo’s Chat Room’ Return, Talk Show Replacing Andy Cohen’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’
Porsha Williams is returning to Bravo’s Chat Room with co-host Gizelle Bryant. The duo is coming back to dish on all the tea from Bravo’s programming. Williams and Bryant will front the show and take over Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live for two weeks as he takes a break. The star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is seen in a new teaser for the show talking about the show’s return to the cable network.
What tea does Porsha Williams spill on the new season of ‘Bravo’s Chat Room?’
Over the years, Bravo has tried a variety of late-night talk shows but few have stuck around for a while. It has been Bravo’s Chat Room that has endured the most time on-air and that is in part thanks to Williams and Bryant’s quick wit. They are the only two surviving co-hosts after Hannah Berner and Kate Chastain were dropped. Ahead of the premiere of their new two-week run, Williams teased the audience with what’s to come on the show.
“Bravo’s Chat Room is back, baby. That’s right. We are starting Monday, August 16,” Williams says with excitement in the teaser video shared on Twitter. “Gizelle and will be taking over for Watch What Happens Live for two whole weeks. Yes! We’ll be breaking down everything on Bravo and getting behind-the-scenes tea from some amazing guest co-hosts.”
Williams reminded viewers to “grab a cocktail” and join her and Bryant for the return of Bravo’s Chat Room.
Who will be the guest co-hosts on ‘Bravo’s Chat Room?’
With the departure of Chastain, Bravo’s Chat Room still functioned to perfection with three co-hosts dishing on everything Bravo. However, after Berner left the show, they were only down to two co-hosts, which meant that the duo needed reinforcements. Luckily, the cable network has lined up an incredible list of guest stars that will help out Bryant and Williams during their two-week engagement.
Cohen revealed that the first guest co-host would be Mercedes “MJ” Javid, star of Shahs of Sunset. During WWHL, Cohen shared the other co-hosts that would join Bryant and Williams but did not specify which night they would appear.
Other stars confirmed include The Real Housewives of New York City personalities Eboni K. Williams and Leah McSweeney, presumably on the night their show airs. Brandi Glanville, former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, will guest co-host as well as Heather Dubrow, who is returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County. Heather Gay of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is set to guest co-host, as well as Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent.
Bryant will have a mini-reunion when her RHOP co-stars Karen Huger and Candiace Dillard make an appearance. Finally, Margaret Josephs of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is also confirmed.
What are fans saying about the return of ‘Bravo’s Chat Room?’
After the official WWHL Instagram account posted the Bravo’s Chat Room teaser of guest co-hosts, it wasn’t long before fans chimed in. Some viewers were excited about the show returning and seeing some of their favorite reality TV personalities talking about Bravo. However, there were others that had some suggestions for the talk show.
“Queens only!!!! That guest list and queen Porsha. I’m so happy!!!!” a fan replied.
“Here for this line-up!” another fan added.
“I need 2 Advil’s after listening to Porsha no thank you,” another fan dissented.
“This is about to be some boring tv,” an Instagram user noted.
