Power Book II: Ghost fans have watched Tariq St. Patrick’s (Michael Rainey Jr.) life crumble from under his feet. Just when he thought everything was going well with his business and at school, things changed in an instant. Now, Tariq has lost custody of his sister, Yasmine and he’s been accused of double murder. Presently. he must deal with a trial and a major fight for his life.

Tariq isn’t the only one dealing with chaos in his life. Monet Tejada (Mary J. Blige) is also trying to find her way now that her husband Lorenzo (Berto Colon) has been released from jail. Moreover, since she’s broken things off with her lover Mecca (Daniel Sunjata), he seems determined to make his life a living hell.

As both Tariq and Monet brace themselves for what’s to come. A major death is on the horizon.

What will ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Season 2 Episode 8 be about?

“Drug Related,” the eighth episode of the second season of Ghost is set to debut on Starz and the Starz app on Jan. 23. The official description of the episode reads, “Davis advises Tariq on the best way to protect himself against Jenny, and Saxe questions what lines Davis crossed in doing so. Carrie realizes her own actions have put her students in harm’s way.”

There will be a really big death in episode 8

Kemp has explained that episode 8 is the most important episode of season 2. “A lot of Zeke’s backstory is going to come out in episode 8,” she explained in a recent Instagram Live. “Episode 8 is my favorite episode of the season, it’s the biggest episode other than episode 5, yall are in for a real treat next week and you’re going to get a lot of answers a lot of the questions you’ve been asking, specifically ones about the Tejada family timeline, what Monet did and when she did it. You’re going to get a lot of answers in an unexpected way.”

She also revealed that there will be a really big death in the episode.

Who is going to die in ‘Power’ Season 2?

There are many ideas swirling around about who might die in the second season of Power. Tariq’s ex-girlfriend Lauren Baldwin (Paige Hurd) is certainly in danger since she is being forced to testify against Tariq. Meanwhile, Carrie Milgram (Melanie Linbard), has also made herself numerous enemies by inserting herself in everyone else’s business.

Monet’s husband Lorenzo’s release from prison has certainly cramped the queenpin’s style while her love Mecca is ruining her life by exposing her secrets. She could take out either of the men. Moreover, Tariq is furious with Cane (Woody McClain) for framing him and has already promised violent retribution.

However, knowing Kemp and her writers, fans are never going to be able to predict who actually dies this season.
