When will ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ Episode 6 premiere on Starz?
There are only three episodes of Power Book III: Raising Kanan left before the series goes on hiatus until season two. As we’ve seen, the war between Raq and rival dealer Unique (Joey Bada$$) is heating up. Moreover, Kanan has been further pulled into his mother’s world despite her desire to keep him safe and protected.
Still, the most revelatory storyline thus far has been about Kanan’s paternity and how it affects Detective Malcolm Howard (Omar Epps). Therefore, fans were stunned when Starz did not air episode 106 on Aug. 22 at its usual time. Thankfully, the episode is set to premiere on Aug. 29.
Is ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ on Netflix?
As thrilling as Power Book III: Raising Kanan is, many people have opted out of traditional cable for streaming services. Though Netflix had a massive catalog on their platform including other Starz network shows, Power Book III: Raising Kanan is currently not available for streaming.
However, Netflix does have a ton of other offerings in the crime drama category including, Narcos, Queen of the South, Criminal Minds, and a slew of others. Moreover, if you have Amazon Prime or Hulu, you can certainly choose to add the Starz network as an add-on to your service.
How can you watch ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ for free?
Though the series is not available to watch on Netflix, there is a way for those who are interested in Raising Kanan or in the Power Universe, in general, to watch the show for free. The Starz network is offering a seven-day free trial for new customers of the Starz app. After the first week, the cost of the app is $8.99/monthly. However, binge-watching the first six episodes of the series for free isn’t a bad deal.
If that doesn’t work for you but you already have a subscription to Hulu, you can add Starz for free for seven days. After the trial is over, you will have to pay just $0.99 a month for the first two months. This will get you through the entire first season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan for just a couple of dollars.
In addition to Raising Kanan, the rest of the Power Universe and Starz’s other offerings like Outlander and P-Valley are certainly worth the watch. It will also catch you up to the speed with any of the other Power shows that may crossover with Raising Kanan in the future. “I would love to see all different versions of that, to be honest with you,” Power creator Courtney A. Kemp told Deadline. “But I want to make sure that Raising Kanan itself has an opportunity to be its own series and not make that compete with Ghost.”
