Diamond Sampson is unlike a lot of characters in Power Book IV: Force. He’s intelligent and strategic, while they can be more violent and dangerous. But he’s shown that he’s not to be messed with, either. Diamond even appears to shoot someone in the trailer for the Power Book IV: Force Season 1 finale. But who is it exactly? Find out what fans of the Starz drama think.

‘Power Book IV: Force’ is, in part, a tale about two brothers

Viewers first met Diamond in the first episode of Power Book IV: Force. Fresh out of prison after a 15-year sentence, he quickly reassumed his position as the head of one of Chicago’s biggest gangs, The Chicago Brothers Incorporated (CBI). His brother Jenard, who had been the crew’s interim leader, became Diamond’s No. 2. But Jenard is intent on taking over CBI officially.

His main issue with Diamond is his willingness to do business with Tommy Egan, an outsider. Jenard thinks they should run things the way they always have, but Diamond knows there’s potential there. As tensions grew, Diamond overheard Jenard telling Blaxton about how he plans to cut Diamond out, opening the door for further conflict.

Diamond shoots someone in the trailer for ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Episode 10

When Diamond was seen shooting someone in the trailer for the Power Book IV: Force Season 1 finale, some viewers immediately thought it was Jenard.

“if anybody kills jenard it will be diamond,” one comment on Reddit said in part.

“I agree. I think Jenard makes a move on Diamond and he has no choice,” read another.

But some thought that be too obvious and figured it was more likely to be someone else.

“Won’t be his brother, they will play that for a bit. A few [episodes] of him pretending not to know, then a few of them at war,” one person wrote.

“Probably Blaxton but I’m hoping I’m wrong,” said another.

“Better not be Blax,” a third fan wrote.

“I’m out if it is lol,” read a different comment.

Others thought the person was unrelated to CBI

Many others thought Diamond shot the officer blackmailing Seamus Bennigan.

“Hope [it’s] the cop,” read a comment.

“He then gets in to good graces with the black cop. Black cop then ultimately sets up vic,” another guessed.

But at the same time, some weren’t sure what to believe.

“I bet he not even shooting anyone,” one fan said. “He probably aims it at someone but no shot at least in that half a second clip. It’s the trailer, they not actually giving away the sauce lmao.”

We guess we’ll find out. Power Book IV: Force airs on Starz on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. Then, prepare for the return of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which comes out this summer.
