What is ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Season 1 Episode 9 about?

Fans of Power Book IV: Force were disappointed when episode 9 did not air on April 3, 2022. Instead, the series was on hiatus for the week with the final two episodes of the season airing on April 10 and April 17 respectively. Since so much happened at the end of episode 8 including Gloria’s (Gabrielle Ryan) death and the appearance of Tommy’s mother Kate (Patricia Kalember), fans were eager to see what happens next. The penultimate episode of Force Season 1 is entitled “Trust.” And, it looks like fans are in for a wild ride.

The official Starz description for the episode reads, “Vic faces a devastating loss. Walter is ready to go to war and sends for heavy hitters. Tommy soon realizes he needs more power but is turned down by one of his closest allies and is forced to turn to an unlikely resource.”

How to watch episode 9

Reports are swirling that “Trust” leaked early on the Starz app and at least a few fans were able to screen the episode ahead of time. Taking to his Instagram page executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson shared fans’ thoughts on the episode while expressing his frustration surrounding the unauthorized leak.

“Somebody leaked episode 9 of Force and I’m telling u this is the best episode this season,” the Twitter user shared. “If you have STARZ you can watch episode 9 of Power Force.” 50 Cent slammed Starz for the episode leak. “See they leaked the episode again these people are incompetent. I went to Harvard, so the f*** what ! SMH.”

It seems that the episode is no longer available, but fans can catch up with the series and the Power Universe, before the Force season 1 finale.  Force is exclusive to the Starz network. However, if you already have an Amazon Prime subscription, you can add the Starz channel to your package and get a free 7-day trial to join. Once the trial ends the price will rise to $8.99 a month.

If you don’t have Prime, you can go directly to Starz. They currently have a deal of just $5 a month for the first three months which will enable fans to watch whatever they want from the network including Force episode 9 when it drops.

Will happen in ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Season 2?

Though season 2 of Force likely won’t debut until 2023, Sikora is already hinting at what fans might see. “I’ll be up for a second and third season easily because I think there’s a lot more story to tell. I think Chicago as a city deserves it,” the actor told Digital Spy. “And I think the fans deserve it to get to a place where we can live with less words and more time in Tommy’s psyche.”

We’re sure that Gloria (Gabrielle Ryan) won’t be the only death Tommy has to contend with by the time season 1 wraps.
