Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) is shaking things up in Chicago on Power Book IV: Force and he’s only getting started. The drama series follows Tommy after he leaves New York in his rearview. Looking to make a name for himself in a new city, he has found himself in the crossfire between the Irish mob, led by the Flynn family, and the Chicago Brothers Incorporated (CBI), helmed by brothers Diamond (Issac Keys) and Jenard (Kris D. Lofton).

Though Starz has remained silent about Force returning for season 2, Sikora says they’ve been given the green light.

50 Cent is furious that Starz has not renewed ‘Power Book IV: Force’ for Season 2

When Force premiered in early Feb. 2022, it had the most-watched premiere in the history of the entire Starz network. “STARZ Original SeriesPower Book IV: Force debuted as the most-watched premiere ever in STARZ history with 3.3 Million multiplatform views in the U.S. on Sunday alone, based on early reporting with many other platforms still to report,” a Starz press release read.”

However, the network hasn’t said anything about renewing the series, despite the massive numbers which has infuriated executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The Power Universe and BMF producer has had a contentious relationship with Starz for some time. Now he is threatening to walk away from the network altogether.

After learning that Starz had renewed the series Hightown, the rapper/producer took to Instagram to express his frustration.  “This is me packing my stuff, STARZ,” he shared in a series of posts. “Sucks, my deal is up over here I’m out. They Renewed High town and FORCE is the highest-rated show they have it sitting in limbo. If I told you how much dumb s*** I deal with over here. you would think they all went to school on a small yellow bus.”

Joseph Sikora says the series has been renewed for season 2

Like 50 Cent, Sikora and fans have been alarmed about Starz staying silent about renewing Force for a second season. “I mean, I think that the show, even just in terms of what the fans want, and the storytelling, I think it has to go a minimum of three seasons,” Sikora told Express. “And maybe a few more than that. But certainly, three to get the full dynamic of Tommy Egan and even Walter Flynn.”

However, the actor also hinted that the series would be getting a second season, but Starz hasn’t formally announced it just yet. A fan asked Lofton on Twitter if the series had been renewed. Sikora responded to the tweet, basically assuring us all that it had.

He tweeted, “That’s a @50cent @JeffreyAHirsch question. But… yes? 🤷🏼‍♂️”

Hopefully, Starz won’t leave us in the dark much longer.

Here’s what fans can expect from ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Season 2

Though Starz is leaving its fans in the dark about the second season of Force, we would say that a renewal announcement is coming any day now. In fact, Sikora has a lot of ideas about what fans can expect to see next. “I’ll be up for a second and third season easily because I think there’s a lot more story to tell. I think Chicago as a city deserves it,” the actor told Digital Spy. “And I think the fans deserve it to get to a place where we can live with less words and more time in Tommy’s psyche.”

The series is at its midway point of the first season and there is so much to unpack. Jenard is trying to take Tommy out, there is a huge rift in CBI, though Diamond doesn’t seem to realize it just yet, and the Flynn family is coming apart at the seams.

Much of the first season of Force has been about Tommy getting his footing, subsequent seasons will be about him taking over Chicago.
