The Voice doesn’t just feature talented singers. Shelton was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2017. Shelton was the second Voice coach to receive the honor, with fellow coach Adam Levine being named Sexiest Man Alive in 2013.
People’s choice to name Shelton as Sexiest Man Alive came with some controversy. Fans thought there were better choices to take the title. But Shelton had fun with it. He joked, “I’ve been ugly my whole life. If I can be sexy for a year, I’m taking it!” Girlfriend Gwen Stefani jumped in on the fun as well, stating in 2018 that she felt he only got sexier after he gave up his title.
