Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose their son’s name before his birth

According to Express, Prince Harry wasn’t completely truthful with the British press when he gave an interview after Archie’s birth. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor arrived at 5:26 am on May 6, 2019, at Portland Hospital in London.

At the time, Harry claimed that he and Meghan were “still thinking about names.” He explained that the baby was a little overdue, so they had more time to think about it.

However, in the new biography Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Caroline Durand claim that Harry and Meghan “had a name ready to go when Archie was born.” The journalists wrote that the Sussexes knew all along they were having a boy.

According to their source, Harry and Meghan settled on the name Archie during the final week of her pregnancy. They wanted a powerful name, and they settled on Archie because it means strength and bravery.

The pandemic canceled Archie Harrison’s visit with Queen Elizabeth

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip have remained at Her Majesty’s Scottish residence, Balmoral Castle. Many members of the royal family have visited the Queen over the summer. Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children enjoyed a visit in late August.

Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and their children also spent time at Balmoral. In recent weeks, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank have also visited with Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh.

But, Harry and Meghan’s plan to visit the Queen with Archie Harrison were put on hold for the foreseeable future. According to Express, earlier this year Prince Harry accepted an invitation from his grandparents to visit Balmoral during their annual summer holiday.

When the lockdowns began due to coronavirus, they reportedly pushed the Sussexes visit into next year to keep everyone safe.

Prince Harry opens up about “our little man”

Hello! Magazine reports that a recent video honoring the Rugby Football League’s birthday features Prince Harry. In the clip, former rugby league player and coach Ellery Hanley asked the Duke of Sussex about his new life in America.

He asked Harry how he was enjoying life in the United States. Harry replied, “Oh OK, these are easy questions. Loving it, it’s fantastic.”

“What I need is a few mini rugby balls that I can then get Archie involved with the game because at the moment it’s impossible to find any,” Harry said. “But I’ve got a little bit of space outside which we’re fortunate enough to have, so I need to get him playing some rugby league.”
