Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the parents of two children: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Harry and Meghan welcomed Archie back in 2019, when they were still living in the United Kingdom. They welcomed Lilibet in 2021, about a year after they relocated from the UK to California.

But as Lilibet starts to grow up, those familiar with the royal family think she bears a surprising resemblance to another royal — and it’s not the Duke or Duchess of Sussex.

Some think Princess Lilibet looks just like Princess Eugenie

You can take the royals out of the family, but you can’t take the family out of the royals. Although Harry and Meghan have done their best to disassociate with certain members of Harry’s family, the reality is they will always be blood. And the adorable Princess Lilibet is now being compared to Harry’s younger cousin, Princess Eugenie. Photos of Princess Eugenie as a toddler do seem to bear a striking resemblance to Lilibet, though we don’t have too many photos of the Sussexes’ daughter, so it isn’t so easy to tell.

Harry, Meghan, and Eugenie have all remained close amid Harry and Meghan’s split from the rest of the family. Harry and Eugenie had been close since they were young, and Eugenie and her now-husband, Jack Brooksbank, struck up a quick friendship with Meghan when she and Harry began dating in 2016. If Harry and Meghan’s daughter were to look like any of the royals, Eugenie is likely the best one to resemble.

Harry knows all too well what it’s like to grow up in the spotlight. He talked about his childhood long before meeting Meghan, and he has been very open about how much he disliked constantly having to be in the spotlight.

Harry and Meghan have taken a different approach to parenting compared to how Harry and his brother, Prince William, were raised. The two are committed to keeping their children out of the spotlight, and even on this year’s holiday card, Harry and Meghan only showed the back of their kids’ faces. Their in-laws, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are taking a similar approach, keeping the kids away from the public eye except for a handful of royal engagements. It seems that, while Harry and his brother don’t speak, they do share one thing in common: They don’t want to raise their children the way they were raised.
